Top 10 Best Magic: The Gathering CardsThe best cards in the game. Maybe there's a lot of combos with them, maybe they're really overpowered all by themselves. What will happen? We'll see.
The Top TenXW
4 mana on turn one? Yes please. And with all the other combos available you can cast huge creatures on turn one. No wonder the card is worth thousands of dollars and almost banned in everything.
Yep and the most expensive card in ALPHA it's worth up to 10,000 dollars!V2 Comments
The ability to take an extra turn is very good
Wow. When I first saw this card I squeeled with joy. Everything is an artifact? That is insane. You can suddenly double loyalty on planeswalkers without using abilities. Annul becomes a counter for 1 mana. And mana color doesn't even matter! How great is that? The combo possibilities are just about endless with it, this card is truely overpowered as it gets.V1 Comment
This is the big dog among the legendary Eldrazi. Extra turn when you cast it and protection from colored spells and annihilator 6? Not good enough, better also make it a 15/15 flyer that can't be countered. I mean, this is almost a spell that says "you win"
Very good card overall. You can use Quicksilver Amulet to get it out early and win.V1 Comment
This card deserves a spot high on this list simply for this text "protection from everything"
"Protection from everything" basically means it can't die. Like the other Progenitus can, it's like God.
I have this card it's the best card you cane ever have
This creature can't die its like godV4 Comments
In EDH, this is one of the kings among commanders. It's so anti control it is control.
The king of all decks token. This is easily one of the best EDH commanders you can run. It gets out staggeringly fast and has staggeringly good consistency. Not to mention it has a CMC of 1 for 2 colors. This card is on another level altogether.V1 Comment
This card is a staple in a 5 color EDH deck. This is because it is the most consistent commander you can have. Not only that, but it has an insanely good ability which can be used to kill things, protect it, or all sorts of other things. All in all, it's a really excellent card
Guaranteed win, especially when paired with Darksteel Forge, which makes it indestructible. Fairly powerful 4/4 creature by itself, but prohibitively expensive mana cost (7). If you can get it on the battlefield, have enchantments ready to protect it until you bring out Darksteel Forge.
This is the best card no doubt. Discard the entire library-that means their hand becomes their library. No library, you lose. The only counter to this is Vraska the Unseen, and that needs to be fast. - AlGalaxy
Ok. 4 abilities. I'm in. Get rid of the opponents good stuff. Card filtering at a three card+hand level. Bouncing. 7 turn clock after ultimate... easily one of the best cards.
Mind Sculpt :P
4 for a 3/1 in the list of top cards? That's not why it's here. This card is by far the most effective combo engine I can imagine. As a creature, it's terrible sure. But if you're looking to really do something with that mycosynth lattice, you can play this guy.
1 blue mana to draw three and put two back. This is excellent for when you don't need exactly what's in your hand, but want to draw a lot of cards. It is really powerful just by itself. Especially for a common.V1 Comment
Another one of those great cards that's just really overpowered by itself, let's you cascade whatever you want even if it's something insanely big in CMC
Wish it was commander legal lol
I'm not voting for the completely broken cards listed in the top ten, but instead my vote goes to Doom Blade because unlike other cards above it that are broken, it's a fair, balanced card that's fun to play and fun to play against. - Turkeyasylum
