A lot of people think (because of the name of the band) that these guys promote animal abuse. Really though, they're against mistreatment and consumption of animals, and the abuse of the environment. Much of their music is based on putting humans in the situations that animals are subjected to (animal testing, slaughter, etc)
Heck, they've started with an entirely vegetarian lineup.
