Greatest player because he did EVERYTHING at a superstar level, and because his peers on the field loved and admired him almost as much as his fans! The New York fans loved and missed him so much that New York formed a new team with similar logo and colors with the expressed goal of bringing Willie back to a New York team, and they did! Willie Mays was the greatest!
