Modern Singers Who Could Sing Queen Songs

The Top Ten
1 Marc Martel

Haha, this guy wasn't even on the list? He even sounds like Freddie. And yeah, kinda looks alike. List to check out Best Songs on Marc Martel's Impersonator

This dude is the closest we can get who could sing almost just like Freddie.

He should be first. Marc is an excellent singer.

2 Adam Lambert Adam Mitchel Lambert is an American singer, songwriter and stage actor. Since 2009, he has sold over 2.5 million albums and 5 million singles worldwide.

A little to poppy, and has quite the alto however was my first thought for Queen.

He's actually touring with Queen.

3 George Michael Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou, known professionally as George Michael, was an English singer, songwriter, record producer, and philanthropist who rose to fame as a member of the music duo Wham!.

Hell he's not modern but I can't really think of many others

4 Matthew Bellamy Matthew James "Matt" Bellamy is an English musician, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and composer. He is most famous for being the main vocalist in alternative rock band "Muse".

As lead singer for Muse. (In my opinion the closet thing to modern day Queen) I think he would be very good.

He has a almost as wide of a vocal range as Mr. Mercury himself. Go through a few Muse songs and you'll see this man's talent

I would go to a Queen concert again if Matthew was the lead singer.

5 Dave Grohl David Eric "Dave" Grohl is an American rock musician, multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, producer and film director. He is best known as the former drummer of the hugely popular 90s grunge band Nirvana and the vocalist/guitarist for the alternative rock band Foo Fighters. He has sat behind the drums for many bands and artists, most notably: Queens of the Stone Age, Tenacious D, Ghost B.C, Them Crooked Vultures, Tom Petty, Nine Inch Nails, Pearl Jam, David Bowie, Scream, Probot and many, many more.

For a lot of the harder rock songs, he could nail them... And after a lot of his songs in the Foo-Fighters he could sing some others as well.

6 Tom Chaplin Thomas Oliver Chaplin, is an English singer-songwriter, musician and composer, best known for being the lead vocalist of British alternative rock band Keane.

He already has sung some queen songs and there amazing.

Sung at the 2010 Rock Gala, maybe he should be higher but eh..

Amazing singer!

Even with Bennington's ...read more.

I'm not sure, but as with Dave he could be very powerful on the hard rock songs (e. G Sheer Heart Attack)

8 Lady Gaga Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, known professionally as Lady Gaga, is an American singer, songwriter, and actress.

On the start of her career, she performed at an event called the Lollapalooza Festival during 2007 whereby a record label company Interscope found her due to her performance being “amusing” to watch. Most of her songs were deep unreleased cuts, due to her having more than 30 songs and 17 were picked. ...read more.

Again a bit too poppy, but I think her voice would be great for We are the Champions, Under Pressure and maybe I want to Break Free.

With her operatic voice and range, maybe...
