Captain America: Civil War Review

MegaSoulhero I remember going to see the first Captain America and thinking it was okay. I liked the character but also thought it was slightly boring. A few years later, I saw Winter Soldier and it became my favorite Marvel movie. I was thinking to myself, "Wow! That was amazing! There is no way Marvel can top this!" Then Civil War comes along and from the trailers, it looked pretty interesting. So I went to see it and I was blown away! This movie is an absolute masterpiece! I loved the entire thing all the way through from beginning to end!

This is definitely Marvel at their best. This movie features a bunch of heroes that include Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Vision, Scarlet Witch, Black Panther, Ant-Man, and of course Spider-Man. We have all been waiting for these heroes to battle against each other and we were not disappointed. This movie can be humorous at times but it also manages to keep a serious tone. The conflict between Cap and Iron Man was very well done. Black Panther was introduced in this movie and I really enjoyed him. The person I was most excited to see in this film is Spider-Man! Tom Holland did an outstanding job as playing Spider-Man. He only had a total of 30 minutes of screen time but every time he was on screen, I was very happy. I'm excited for his new movie coming out next year. The action in this movie was great. There were some parts where they used CGI but there were also parts where they used practical effects. The stunt choreography was also great. They had an excellent stunt team in this movie, some of the best I've seen.

So yeah, this movie was fantastic! I love how the Captain America movies get better with each new movie. Civil War isn't just my favorite Marvel movie, it's probably my favorite super hero movie ever! This makes me glad that the Russo brothers will be directing Infinity War. I definitely recommend seeing this movie!

Great post! I'm wondering if you'll make more movie review posts later on. - visitor

I really enjoyed the movie but there were a few issues such as, why come up with the accords when the government nuked the city when the chitauri attacked. And Ross of all people was shocking since he brought Abomination to New York many movies ago. Also, I personally think that War Machine should've died since he wasn't really serving a purpose further more in the movies other than shoot stuff. I couldn't form a bond with his character. I guess they're saving him for Infinity War. I also don't think Tony should've recruited a kid in a war, but I understand that one since Spider Man was probably put in for fanservice (it made me happy anyway).

But yeah, I still give this movie a 10/10 anyway because I loved it! - DCfnaf

Great movie,indeed. - Tia-Harribel

It was pretty good, although there may have been one too many characters in the movie. Like was there really a purpose to have Ant-Man in there other than for fanservice? However the Russos handled this very well and made a great film with awesome action. - Anonymousxcxc
