Top Ten Monster Hunters on TV

The Top Ten
1 Sam Winchester (Supernatural) Samuel "Sam" Winchester is a fictional character and one of the two protagonists of the American drama television series Supernatural along with his older brother Dean.
2 Dean Winchester (Supernatural) Dean Winchester is a fictional character and one of the two protagonists of the American drama television series Supernatural.

No doubts there. Dean is the BEST!

The best hunter ever!

3 Angel (Angel)
4 Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
5 Wesley (Angel)
6 Riley Finn (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
7 Mulder (X Files)

Mulder is easily the best one here. First off, it helps that his show is good, as opposed to the other shows on this list (with the possible exception of Monster Squad, which I have not seen). Second, Mulder's world is more of a realistic one, as he works for a government agency and has to put up with Scully, who is not so quick to believe that aliens are responsible. Naturally, this creates a bit of mystery as to what is going on. With the other shows, demons are force-fed down your throat. Here, there is more intrigue and variety among the aliens which Mulder and Scully face. The fact that he is not number one merely indicates that not enough people have seen X-Files.
Lastly, because I can, my "remix" (the site does not allow you to remix a list if you do not own an account):
1: Mulder (obviously)
2: Rudy (benefit of the doubt, after all)
3: Peter Vincent (technically not a television character, but I have been meaning to see this)
4: ...more

8 Rudy (Monster Squad)
9 Giles (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
10 Castiel Winchester (Supernatural)

Love Castiel. But Castiel Winchester? Seriously?

The Contenders
11 Spike (Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel)
12 Peter Vincent (Fright Night (1985))

Ok, so this one is trick to count, since it is a T.V. show in a movie, but he is so cool.

13 Simon D. Hunter (Aaahh!!! Real Monsters)
