That is one hell of a song for fingers! - rocknrolldude
Not their hardest, but should have been higher
Holy Diver... Mr. Crowley may be the hardest song of all time (other than something by buckethead)... I am actually trying to learn this right now, and I can guarantee its's harder than Eruption. Eruption is like playing "Mary Had a Little Lamb" on piano compared to THIS!
How is this not already on the list, it is way harder than Crazy Train and has 3 solos, 2 of which are ridiculous and show the true talent of the legend Randy Rhodes, this song is a better representation of Rhodes as a guitarist than Crazy Train.
That first solo is as complicated as Eruption
I don't expect this to be high up on the list, but still, I think it should be somewhere on the list. It may not be a tough guitar solo to screw off on, but to truly nail every note like Jimmy does? Well that can certainly get a little frustrating.
One of the fastest shredders of all time, this song should be the 1rst
The Champion Guitarist Herman and Sam Totman Perform this song and the guitar solo in this song is 3.74m long and they play with 103.4 Note per second.
Of all the songs of Dragonforce, this is THE hardest song. Speed, accuracy, technique, you need EVERYTHING to play this.
It is challenging if you can't get the thumb slap simultaneously with the forefinger down stroke. Many examples of people thinking they are playing this correctly, but are really missing some of the passing notes on the downstroke that are hard to hit accurately when thumb slapping at the same time. Another example of how good this guy is on guitar. It is nowhere near as difficult to play as his Neon, but the technique definitely takes time to learn and master.
Funny very funny that this is no 85! It should be of course in first 5, its very difficult. I can play solo ONe from Metallica, but cannot play this. Its just one stage higher...V 1 Comment
The speed and accuracy of the guitar playing in this piece are mind-boggling. Easily one of the hardest, if not the hardest piece to play on guitar
Not only does it require incredible speed, it requires you to move up and down the fretboard constantly
This had to be from Petrucci (Guitar) - MetalPatz
A great power metal song, that actually has good rhythms, good solos, and memorable lyrics. This great song still has its good share of frustrating moments of how many times messing up the solos that you spend hours working on.
All I've got to say this that, this is hell of the guitar.
Woah. Through the Fire and Flames? Seriously? Most of DT song are zillion times difficult than Dragon song.
Eruption will be easy, If you can get its tapping. The arppegios, sweeps, Guitar Scales, 10x faster than Triplets, and its pretentious time signature. I can learn this song, like 2 years(If you only focus on this one).
One more idiotic placement. Of course this is very difficult and should be in top 10 if not first placement.
This song alone is an evolution to the guitar in my opinion. It is Poly-rhythmic to the t and it has an amazing array of various techniques to go along with it. This song is true art!
This song specially because it sounds amazing, but any Necrophagist's songs are like hell to play, and it must sound clean! Doubt anyone here can do it!
