Now Rude was arrogant, but he can back it up with great wrestling skills, nowhere was that true than on the night of April 2, 1989 at Wrestle Mania Five. Here Rude displayed his talent despite having back spasms. It took the help of Rude's Manager Bobby "The Brain" Heenan to Help Rude become the new W W F Intercontinental Champion. He fend off Hacksaw Jim Duggan to keep his title but he lost it to The Ultimate Warrior later that year. But in 1989, Rude was a heat magnet and a champion who left us way too soon.

15 Bruno Sammartino Bruno Leopoldo Francesco Sammartino was born in Pizzoferrato, Abruzzo, Italy, to Alfonso and Emilia Sammartino on October 6, 1935. He then died on April 18, 2018 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. He is known for his powerful bearhug finishing move, and is widely considered to be one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time.

Bruno a legend for all times, the 1960s was his decade beginning on that May 17, 1963 at New York's Madison Square Garden when a primed Bruno Sammartino beat Buddy Rogers (who came into this bout just recovering from heart surgery) and in less than one minute become the W W W F World Heavyweight Champion. Bruno defended his crown with class and honor. Pro wrestling Hall of Fame legend Terry Funk once said "Bruno Sammartino was bigger than wrestling itself".
