For much of their career, the band consisted of lead vocalist Gerard Way, guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero, bassist Mikey Way, and drummer Bob Bryar.

My Chemical Romance is very overrated, never understood why people loved all their music. Black Parade is amazing, I’ll admit that, but I thought Three Cheers was just a bunch of noise and that Bullets deserved more praised. Can someone please explain to me why My Chemical Romance was the life saving band for all of the emo kids out there?

My Chemical Romance deserves all the love it gets, I don't think they're overrated

Terrible band. It surprises me why people like them so much. They're rap mixed with rock... In my opinion a very very bad combination!

One Direction is extraordinarily overrated. Their songs are unoriginal and uncreative, and though they may have a couple of decent, maybe above average vocalists, such as Zayn (I don't like him but he's a decent singer), their songs are actually musically and lyrically simple and not that impressive skill-wise. I don't see why iconic and talented bands are considered more overrated on this list. In fact I think Green Day and Linkin Park deserve the attention they get, and Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance are actually UNDERrated.

Whoever says they're the new Beatles really needs to listen to more music. The Beatles will always be a better band than One Direction; in fact, almost everything is better than listening to one of their songs.

Only liked because they look good, unoriginal and their fans worship them like gods.

It was "Big Thursday", and it should go back to that. If I had my druthers, it'd be the Thursday of State Fair week, every year. I wouldn't mind it still being a "home ^^ away" series, but making it a fixture on Thursday would definitely give the rivalry the national spotlight it so richly deserves.

Is not overrated. Limp Bizkit is the best. Enough said.

14 Black Veil Brides Black Veil Brides is an American rock band currently consisting of Andy Biersack (vocals), Jinxx (guitar), Jake Pitts (guitar), Christian Coma (drums) and Ashley Purdy (bass), that formed in 2006 in Ohio. After the release of their second album "We Are Not Alone", the band gained a lot success in Europe and Asia.

They aren't really around anymore, but still... When they were I felt they were a bit overrated. There isn't a lot of variation in their songs; all their albums and songs have the same structure. Still, leagues and miles ahead of bands like "One Direction" and "Dragonforce. "

I am sad to see that Breaking Benjamin is actually on this list... they stomp on Black veil Brides and Pierce the Veil if they are even worthy of being called bands
