Kurt may have committed suicide, but that doesn't mean he's a devil worshiper. He was going through the worst times in his life. And he unfortunately got to the point where things were so bad that he didn't think there was any reason to live so he killed himself because he was really depressed.

They're not satanic! They've got their lyrical inspirations from religion like Buddhism and Christianity.
