Leonard Kevin "Len" Bias was a first-team All-American college basketball forward at the University of Maryland.Spending much of his winters helping others through charity work, he hopped on a plane to aid the earthquake victims in Nicaragua. Unfortunately the plane had a history of mechanical issues and a substandard flight crew, plus was overloaded by 4200 pounds. All of this led to the plane crashing into the Atlantic Ocean. Clemente's body, still to this day, has not been found.
