Most Underrated Animated Films

With how everyone will tell you this movie is underrated now, it really has transcended being "underrated" (or what people REALLY mean, overlooked) and has become a modern animated classic along with The Lion King and Toy Story.

Such a great movie and a HUGE part of my childhood. Kinda sad how underrated it is but literally no one has a clue what it is or has ever even heard of it!

I just don't understand the hate for the movie it was part of my childhood as well and overall it's one of my favorite animated films. Honestly I wish people would be at least a little more respectful to this movie because this was the last movie Joe Ranft worked on before his death and yet nobody seems to care.

Count me in guys. This movie is literally my first 5 years I was a mass of cells on this earth. Oh, did you know there is a super rare card VHS? One of my life goals is to own it.

I love this movie so much! The world of Cars is just such a cool and creative universe

Why do so much people hate it? This movie was part of my childhood.

Don't get fooled by the weak, silly animation.

Oh, I remember my sister absolutely loved this movie when we were little. And we both still really like it, because it's extremely funny and has one of the best comedic duos in animated films.

How is THIS my favourite Dreamworks movie unironically? (my favourite ironically is Shrek)

Remember when Dreamworks made gold? Now they make garbage.

This movie is kind of a guilty pleasure for me.

Well done and good story

I love this movie so much I bought the Blu-Ray release and watched it immediately twice in one day. The second time was with the Audio Commentary and let me just say the film still holds up with great characters, beautiful animation, a fantastic score by James Newton Howard, and an Awesome female lead named Kida (Cree Summer). This film is a must watch for Animation fans, Disney fans, Adventure fans, people who like 20,000 leagues under the sea type of stories to name a few.

It received mixed reviews upon initial release however it is phenomenal and deserves much more attention! I give the film a rating of 10/10.

This is UNDERrated, not overrated.

People hate it because the humour is poor, but outside of that, Shrek the Third is a worthy conclusion to the Shrek franchise, finely finishing the Far Far Away plot and developing Prince Charming. This is also why I'm not a fan of Shrek Forever After because it doesn't progress anything

This should be number one on this list one of my favorite cgi movies

This is no longer underrated.
