Most Underrated Music Artists

The Top Ten
1 Jackie Evancho Jacqueline Marie "Jackie" Evancho is an American classical crossover singer who gained wide recognition at an early age. Since 2009, she has issued an EP and eight albums, including a platinum and gold album, and three Billboard 200 top 10 debuts. I discovered her through this site. At least in the US she is known and is able to sell her music. She may not get airplay, but I think most Americans know she exists. In Europe she is absolutely unknown. I doubt many people have ever heard of her. She's not on T.V., nor does she get airplay, nor are her albums available in shops that sell music. You have to order them on Amazon. If you don't discover her by accident, like I did through this site, you would never hear her beautiful voice and incredible talent. A pity.

Some still think of Jackie as a child star, but she is now 16 years old and has been performing professionally since the age of 10. Her talent has always been evident, but she has not always gotten the recognition she deserves because she is so young.

Jackie doesn't get the notoriety, airplay or infotainment coverage of other singers. But fan affection for this beautiful singer runs deep. Someday, the media will wonder why they hadn't "discovered" her sooner.

2 Tame Impala Tame Impala is an Australian psychedelic rock band founded by Kevin Parker in 2007. The group began as a home recording project for Parker, who writes, records, performs, and produces the music.

Tame Impala are truly amazing, how they do not have more recognition is beyond my understanding. They make some of the best music I have ever heard, without a doubt.

Maybe not underrated, but they remind me of Pink Floyd a little bit.
