181RadioheadRadiohead are an English rock band from Abingdon, Oxfordshire, formed in 1985. The band consists of Thom Yorke (lead vocals, guitar, piano, keyboards), Jonny Greenwood (lead guitar, keyboards, other instruments), Colin Greenwoood (bass guitar), Phil Selway (drums), and Ed O'Brien (guitar).

Radiohead encompasses everything a band should be. They are experimental, unique and have an huge range of amazing songs that they don't get much credit for - in Rainbows, for example. This album is undoubtedly one of their best, and I could listen to it all day.

However even though this is the case, I don't think they're underrated as such. OK Computer was a MASSIVE hit album and they had quite a good career and are still going.
I'd say they're one of the best and most influential rock bands in the world but not the most underrated. I think in the 130 - 150 spot is good for them - SMU2WG

182Emerson, Lake & PalmerEmerson, Lake & Palmer were an English progressive rock supergroup formed in London in 1970. The band consisted of keyboardist Keith Emerson, singer, bassist, and producer Greg Lake, and drummer and percussionist Carl Palmer.V1 Comment
183Black Veil BridesBlack Veil Brides is an American rock band currently consisting of Andy Biersack (vocals), Jinxx (guitar), Jake Pitts (guitar), Christian Coma (drums) and Ashley Purdy (bass), that formed in 2006 in Ohio. ...read more.

Black Veil Brides are NOT underrated. I rarely ever hear a bad thing about them! All I ever see are teenage girls and guys sporting their t-shirts. They aren't even real metal. They're an unbelievably generic, unoriginal, bland band.

Ew the first thing that comes into my mind when I hear BVB, are those annoying emo teen girls

184Diamond HeadDiamond Head are an English heavy metal band formed in 1976 in Stourbridge, England. The band is recognised as one of the leading members of the new wave of British heavy metal and is acknowledged by thrash metal bands such as Metallica and Megadeth as an important early influence.

Black Sabbath is to Heavy Metal as Diamond Head is to Thrash. Diamond Head really doesn't get much credit at all, which is odd considering their old school feel, creativity, and influence.

185Modest Mouse

Very underrated, good songs, not a lot of people knew about them until 2004 when "Float On" came out. But still aren't getting the love they deserve.

186DaughtryDaughtry is an American rock band formed and fronted by namesake Chris Daughtry, who was a finalist on the fifth season of American Idol. Their self-titled debut album was released in November 2006.
187The Jam

Paul weller's songwriting is second none. Combined with foxton's bass riffs and some tight drumming no one can match the jam for energy or creativity. Very underrated in America.

188The ByrdsThe Byrds were an American rock band, formed in Los Angeles, California in 1964. The band underwent multiple line-up changes throughout its existence, with frontman Roger McGuinn remaining the sole consistent member, until the group disbanded in 1973. Although they only managed to attain the huge commercial ...read more.

Shocking that this group has been all but forgotten.
At one time they proudly bore the title of "the American Beatles'

189BadfingerBadfinger was a British rock band that, in their most prolific lineup, consisted of Pete Ham, Mike Gibbins, Tom Evans, Joey Molland and Bob Jackson.

They were cut too short, if Peter Hamm would not have died we would have heard more of their great music.

190Wishbone Ash

Argus was great Pilgrimage ahead of it's time...Incredible twin guitars...

191VolbeatVolbeat are a Danish metal band which was formed in Copenhagen. They play a fusion of rock and roll, heavy metal and rockabilly.
192Jefferson AirplaneJefferson Airplane was a San Francisco, California-based band who pioneered the American counterculture movement as well as psychedelic rock. ...read more.
193KansasKansas is an American rock band that became popular in the 1970s initially on album-oriented rock charts and later with hit singles such as "Carry On Wayward Son" and "Dust in the Wind".

Tremendous catalog with a large number of songs that are much better than their long list of hits. Also, great live performers who are able to connect with their audience either in an arena or a small outdoor venue. They define underrated.

Best classic progressive rock and roll band ever. Amazing live, they don't miss! ~ If you haven't seen them, you must as a bucket list item! Songs that matter, lyrics that hit home, musical talent over the top. Someone described it best, its like 6 Beethovens on the stage at once!

194Status Quo

Oh my god. If you see how much their records are worth the you'll see. You look at Pink Floyd and they sold MILLIONS of albums yet they are worth $50-$100. Status quo? $1 dollar bin. So underrated it's not even funny. Better than acdc. Listen to roll over lay down. A fantastic band that has been lost in time. Please listen to this band.
