I'm not a big fan of rap, but I'm a very big fan of Eminem. I have massive respect for him and what he raps about in songs like Beautiful or Mockingbird.

A lot of people dislike him, but he brought forth great songs and albums in the 2000s. Just listen to the Marshall Mathers LP. He was also the best-selling artist of the decade.

I know many may disagree, but her songs and dancing were defining factors in that decade. Plus, who doesn't start singing when one of her songs comes on? You're just kidding yourself if you say you don't.

Her first album "Dangerously In Love" was pretty good, but after that, it all went downhill. This woman has made some of the absolute worst songs of the mid to late 2000s and 2010s.

5 Avril Lavigne Avril Ramona Lavigne is a Canadian–French singer-songwriter and actress. By the age of 15, she had appeared on stage with Shania Twain; by 16, she had signed a two-album recording contract with Arista Records worth more than $2 million.

I went with Green Day because, no matter how much they are made fun of and called a pop band, they are still a great band with very unique music for the time frame. So is System of a Down, yes, but Green Day's albums are a tad better in my opinion.

How are bands like Green Day, Linkin Park, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers behind artists like Outkast, Yeezy, T-Pain, and Avril Lavigne?
