Best Music Artists and Bands that Have Released Three Albums or Less

The Top Ten
1 M2M M2M was a Norwegian teen pop duo consisting of Marit Larsen and Marion Raven, both of which provided vocals, guitar, piano and songwriting. They released two albums, “Shades of Purple” and “The Big Room”, in 2000 and 2002, respectively. Both albums received universal acclaim internationally and were praised for their authentic lyrics and their acoustic outfit and were named way ahead of other teen pop records . The singers were 14 and 15 when their debut album was released. ...read more.

Their songs were so heartfelt. They fall under the category of teen pop, but they took this genre to s whole another level. They wrote all their songs themselves, they played the guitars. Their topics evolved around not being ready yet for a relationship, not liking who the mirror shows you to be, being heartbroken, or being "the right one" despite being unperfect. It's things every one can easily relate to, and they deliver it without any melodrama. They had an unusually mature view on life, and despite often singing about the downsides of life, always remained positive and kept a cheerful tone in their music. Unfortunately, Marit Larsen and Marion Raven parted ways after only two albums, and each had a solo career. Their solo albums were good as well, but neither's discography is as stunning and touching as the two M2M albums. I am still puzzled that "Shades of Purple" is not seen as a modern day classic.
