They invented doom metal and maybe influenced gothic metal. Also stoner metal but its status as a metal subgenre is very shaky because there's no difference between stoner rock and stoner metal.
The template for all other metal subgenres that are classically inspired and fast was invented by Deep Purple. Iron Maiden and Judas Priest followed Deep Purple and not Black Sabbath.

I have said it before that black sabbath isn't the creator of metal. it was deep purple.even if it wasnt deep purple then still it wasnt Black Sabbath.heavy metal wasnt created suddenly.Heavy Metal was created from combination of - psychedelic rock, progressive rock and hard rock with different style.which has been played by deep purple before 70s.before black sabbath released their first album.and if you say official then there are two bands that get credit for creation of heavy metal - led zeppelin and black sabbath. so I think if black sabbath is here then led zeppelin also should be here (if its official)
