Top 10 Music Artists You've Heard of for the First Time Thanks to TheTopTens

It doesn't necessarily mean you liked these artists - it only means that thanks to this site you heard of them and learned that many people like them. But it's even better if you liked some of these artists.

My original remix doesn't represent only my own experience - I knew about some artists before that. But I've read some comments by other people that helped me with the list items (ex. "I never heard of them before but this song rocks").
The Top Ten

I first learned about her from this site but I got bored with all this top ones she has (I'm definitely sure not all of them by voting).I also found 3 lists which she's number 1 as underrated! Oh my God...
Classic music is great even originally even in other ways (as metal treasure I propose Metal Heart from Accept).
Finally, now I already dislike this girl...

Unfortunately younger kids immerse themselves in screeching, pounding, discordant noise they are told is music. Jackie Evancho is one of a very few singers who can really, really, sing. Jackie is the singer you actually shut-up and listen when she sings.

Even Barack Obama, the Pope, Trump, and the United Nations had never heard of her, but since Obama and Trump both read The Top Tens all the time, they figured they should invite her to sing at the White House, UN Building, Congress, etc.

I did hear about her for the first time on the top tens, which was very nice. I have enjoyed listening to her music quite a bit since then.

2 K.S. Chithra Krishnan Nair Shantakumari Chithra, often credited as K. S. Chithra or simply Chithra, is an Indian playback singer from Kerala. Chithra also sings Indian classical, devotional, and popular music.

I did hear about her for the first time on the top tens, which was very nice. I have enjoyed listening to her music quite a bit since then.

Another one who hardly anyone outside TheTopTens has heard about, but gets spam voted on here.

I heard Chithra before, but this site helped me to know her better for some reason.

3 The Birthday Massacre The Birthday Massacre is a Canadian dark wave and synth rock band currently consisting of Chibi (vocals), Rainbow (guitar), Falcore (guitar), Owen (keyboard), Rhim (drums) and Nate Manor (bass), that formed in 1999 (even though the 2016 demo collection "Imagica" dates some tracks back at 1998). Originally known as Imagica, The Birthday Massacre is known for their playfully macabre and spooky tone, often created through the contrast of happy and upbeat melodies and dark and sinister lyrics. The band often uses primal fears, such as hearing footsteps, being afraid of monsters hiding under the bed and twisting innocent fairy tale motifs into something morbid. ...read more.

Dimash is best known as a contestant of Chinese talent show "Singer 2017" where he was declared a runner-up. He is also known for possessing a wide vocal range, measuring up to 5 octaves.

If you love verbal gymnastics, discordant, wheezing, and often out-of-tune attempts at singing, you might want to get on the fanbase that has been pushing this guy the last few months.

At first I have never even heard of this guy until I found out that he is spam voted on a lot of lists on TheTopTens. Thanks to spam voters, I see him on a lot of music lists.

Obviously, considering that no one outside this site knows about him but there has been lots of spam voting for him on here.

I had first heard of Dimash on TheTopTens because he was votebotted to the top of a lot of lists.
