1 Vince Carter
Vincent Lamar "Vince" Carter is an American professional basketball player for the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association. Amazing dunker. He is ahead of every dunker in NBA history. If you don't agree with me, watch one of his games then you'll see my point.

He won 2 NBA Titles, 1 with the 76ers and one with the Lakers. ...read more. People well over seven feet tall never look too impressive when they are dunking, except for the very young Wilt Chamberlain. Early on, he realized his free-throw shooting was not too good, and he also discovered that he could jump from behind the line, and dunk his free-throws.
Upon learning of this ability, the NBA immediately adjusted the rules to require that FT shooters end up behind the line even after releasing their shots.
No other player, not MJ, not Dr. J, nobody, has ever actually taken off from cleanly behind the line.
Still the only player who could dunk from behind the line, even Jordan's toe touched the line a little bit.
The Contenders

This list should really be about who is the second-best dunker after Spud Webb.
For those who do not know, everybody else on this list is between 6 foot 6 inches and 7 feet tall, but Spud Webb is only "5 foot 6 inches", but still easily won the NBA slam dunk contest when he entered it.
