1 Patrick Ewing Patrick Aloysius Ewing (born August 5, 1962) is a Jamaican-American retired Hall of Fame basketball player and current head coach of the Georgetown University men's basketball team.

He was born in Jamaica but soon he would become one of the early greats of the Big East Conference and Georgetown became the first Big East team to win the NCAA Championship in 1984 and Ewing played a big part and later on he would be best friends with a man in the office named Ronald Reagan. His biggest strengths other than scoring was his defense and just before the NCAA adopt the 45 second shot clock, he played defense with a vengeance and was named the Big East defensive player of the year 4 years in a row.
