Top 10 NFL Receivers With the Best Hands

The Top Ten
1 Jerry Rice Jerry Lee Rice is a former American football wide receiver who played 20 seasons in the National Football League, primarily with the San Francisco 49ers.

Rice wasn't just good at everything. He was GREAT at everything, including hands. The man was religious in terms of his systematic methods, and securing the catch was no different.

Jerry Rice best receiver ever. But 2nd best hands to Chris Carter (Carter's one-hand catches put him first for best hands).

The fact that he isn't number one disgusts me. He's the GOAT.

2 Odell Beckham Jr. Odell Beckham Jr. is a NFL wide receiver, playing for the Los Angeles Rams. He is most-known for making an incredible one-handed catch against the Dallas Cowboys. Beckham was drafted 12th overall to the New York Giants.

He has literally the best hands ever. When my dad and I are watching the Giants play, whenever OBJ makes a wicked catch, I always say to him, "OBJ is the only player who would complete that catch!" And you all have to admit, sometimes you guys think that too.

I know he's a little weird sometimes. Without this player, the NY Giants, starting a new season without him, would be 0-16 and have a worse team than the Browns. And I don't get why he's not in front of Marvin Harrison. He's way better!

He should be at least 4 but really should be top 3 because he has the best hands in the NFL right now. His hands are way better than Calvin, Larry, and Randy Moss. Whoever made this list doesn't know anything.

3 Randy Moss Randy Gene Moss is a former American football wide receiver who played 14 seasons in the National Football League.

Randy Moss had the best hands I think I've ever seen, next to Chris and Larry. He's made circus catches since he came into the league. When he comes back, he'll continue to make plays, whether the QB he has is good or not!

If he had a Hall of Fame QB his whole career, he would have destroyed every record in the books. In one year with Brady at the end of his career, they destroyed the league.

Best WR ever, best hands ever. If you are picking the best of all time, he's the first choice!

4 Marvin Harrison

Marvin was one of the smartest WRs the NFL has ever seen. He and Peyton had chemistry as if they were identical twins who lived together their whole lives.

5 Tony Gonzalez Anthony David Gonzalez is a former American football tight end who played 17 seasons in the National Football League.

Best tight end ever. Second in many receiving records.

6 Cris Carter

I'm a lifelong Packer fan. I hate the Vikes and their players. But you can't deny CC had the best hands ever. He didn't just catch the ball. He sucked it in like a black hole. He made difficult catches look routine. He made the extraordinary common. He was that good.

Unbelievable is the only word I can use to describe what I used to get to watch every Sunday. He was maybe the best third-down receiver as well with his stiff-arm. He was the most antagonistic, vicious, and talented ball-catching receiver that any team ever had.

7 Larry Fitzgerald Larry Darnell Fitzgerald Jr. is an American football wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. Fitzgerald was drafted 3rd overall to the Arizona Cardinals in 2004, he is considered to be one of the best players of his position to never win a Super Bowl.

The question isn't "which receivers perform the best or look the prettiest when cartwheeling." The question was "which wide receiver has the best hands?" Larry Fitzgerald, whether you think he's one of the best receivers of all time or not, is the number one without question at securing the ball without dropping it. That's what I call sure hands.

It's not about yards after the catch or how many people he contests. It's simply "how sure are his hands?" He is the GOAT in that department unequivocally.

May not be the flashiest, may not have the most yards or most TDs, but at the end of the day, in a clutch situation, there is no receiver in the history of the NFL I would rather throw to when the game is on the line. Best pure hands, best coordination, and best person on and off the field that has ever stepped foot on a football field. Definition of a role model.

8 Steve Largent Stephen Michael Largent is a retired American football player, enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and a former Republican politician, having served in the U.S. House of Representatives for Oklahoma, from 1994 until 2002.

Mr. Seahawk, aka Yoda, is an epic receiver. No yards after the catch, you say? Were you possibly born after he retired? Steve and Mr. Stickum, Jerry Rice, should always be number one and two on any list.

Steve Largent's revenge hit on the Broncos DB Mike Harden was epic and said a lot about Steve as a player and a human being. Thanks again to the Houston Oilers for the gift of a Hall of Famer. Now, if we could only go back in time and get Seattle to draft Warren Moon.

Have you even seen this man's highlights? Jerry Rice himself is quoted as saying that Largent had the best hands ever. Largent held every record there was, including most touchdowns.

9 Fred Biletnikoff

Super Bowl MVP yet he did not score a TD. That should say something about being one of the greatest all-time receivers. He also played in the era when DBs could mug receivers all over the field.

Top collegiate receiver award called the Biletnikoff Award, made The Snake look better than he was, chain mover, slow, superstitious, awesome receiver!

Bar none, the best hands in the NFL, and he didn't use stick 'em. Too bad he did not play for the Cowboys.

10 Calvin Johnson Calvin Johnson Jr. is a retired American football wide receiver who played his entire career for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League. He is often called the nickname ''Megatron'' for his rare combination of size, speed, and leaping ability on the field.

Calvin Johnson has great catching ability. The stats say it all!

You can throw it up anywhere and Calvin is there, being Megatron, catching the ball.

Leaping ability to make catches above four people, and he's too strong to drop the ball.

The Contenders
11 Raymond Berry

Slow, contact lenses, one leg shorter than the other. Between the lines, he was the best. Best work ethic and determination of any receiver that I have had the pleasure of watching over the years. He played in a different era (1950s-1960s), but he had hands as good as anyone then or now.

Best consistent hands on a receiver. Only dropped two passes in his career. No gloves.

12 DeAndre Hopkins DeAndre Rashaun Hopkins, also known as "Nuk," is an American football wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. Hopkins was drafted 27th overall to the Houston Texans in 2013.

Even Chris Carter thinks "Nuk" has the best hands of any active player!

Did you see his catch against the Steelers in Week 16 of 2017? He does all this with a trash quarterback.

13 Julio Jones Quintorris Lopez "Julio" Jones is a current wide receiver who plays for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League. Jones was selected sixth overall in 2011 to the Atlanta Falcons, and since made it to one Super Bowl.
14 Jarvis Landry Jarvis Charles Landry is an American football wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League. Landry was drafted in the 2nd round sixty third overall to the Miami Dolphins in 2014.

This guy is one of the toughest players in the NFL. Plus, he can one-hand a catch like no other.

Phenomenal talent, work ethic, and hands.

15 Sterling Sharpe

Short career, so you've all forgotten.

16 Lynn Swann

Swann had the best hands ever and to date in the NFL. Period!

Best pure WR in history. No gloves and no stickum. He had tremendous agility and awareness. No WR has come close to mirroring Swann.

17 Michael Crabtree Michael Alex Crabtree, Jr. is an American football wide receiver for the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League.
18 Hines Ward
19 Kellen Winslow Sr.
20 Antonio Brown Antonio Brown is a former NFL wide receiver and for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFC South Division. He was drafted in the 6th round of the 2010 draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers, and has also been on the Oakland Raiders and New England Patriots. He is a 7x pro bowler, and regarded as a skilled player... read more

Hardest working player I've ever seen. He's crazy, but he's got glue on his hands.

21 Reggie Wayne Reginald Wayne is a former American football wide receiver who spent his entire 14-year career with the Indianapolis Colts.

Can't believe he's not on here already.

22 Eric Decker Eric Thomas Decker is an American football wide receiver for the New York Jets of the National Football League.
23 A. J. Green Adriel Jeremiah "A. J." Green is an American football wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League.
24 Michael Irvin

One of the greatest wr of all time. Route running arguably top 3 ever. Along with the hands. This is disrespect to put thielen above or almost every other player that is not rice, carter, moss, and a few others.
