Best NFL Teams to Not Make the Playoffs in 2017
Who knew the Titans would be better coached in 2016 well done. Not exactly a failure of a season, but something to look up to for Tennessee fans. You got a defense that's going to get better overtime, an offensive line that played pretty dam good. You have the Running back, the Tight End, and the Quarterback. It sucked that there end came in the form of an injury losing there big leader Mariota who had a good 2nd year I mean this team beat the Packers, Lions, Broncos, & Chiefs those were pretty big wins 3 made it to the playoffs Let's hope for great things next year for them Titans.
So glad to see the Titans up here. They deserve some respect. They're really underrated and true football fans will realize that. I'm confident they will make the playoffs next year!
Almost made it in in 2016 but next year they'll win the division
They would've made it if they hadnt've messed up bad when playing the Jaguars.
I feel bad for Cousins yesterday when he basically lost the game for the Skins I really wanted to route for him, but such a sad end for a team that should of made the playoffs. Generally good team with good pieces ultimately should of won games like Giants, Like Panthers (which killed them if you think about it).
They played well the 1st half, fell apart the 2nd half, but played a great goodbye game for Kubiak, now you wonder will this team stay consistent or are they ultimately going to regress after having a dynamic year like with SB 50.
Early on not so much, but when they turned it on beating teams like Chiefs, and Seahawks it didn't get bigger than that. Only to get beat by the almighty Drew Brees to end your playoff hopes.
Well early on they were playing great football, then all of a sudden they fall to the Lions twice that a big problem. Once again the Sam Bradford curse lives on every team he has been on never makes the playoffs even if you have a decent defense, ultimately injuries will make a team worse. While not bad towards the stretch either they were just not that good with those key guys out Bridgewater, Peterson (early on), Offensive Lineman, and some key defensive players as well.
Great team. The problem was that in the game against the Eagles, he changed into a whole different person. After that game, he just couldn't keep it together
Started off good, finished in disappointment. Not that bad of a team it was just somebody had to win the AFC North, and unfortunately for John Harbuagh his team could not do it again even with a healthy team as opposed to last year.
Like the 2 teams below them disappointing, but not as everyone didn't see coming. I saw it coming because who was team last year that got screwed because of deflategate Colts that next year they flat out where just not good that is essentially what this Cardinals team was they make the championship, and do poor the very next year. They still have those core players, but Palmer ain't getting any younger and his time is coming sooner than later.
Best team in NFL West, see their division record and having beat the seahawks (at home) as well. Injuries is what its all about and special team play.
Two years in a row this team has missed the playoffs, maybe the coaches don't have the same style that was great team. Maybe Pagano was good when Arians was still around?
Another team that disappointed, but look on the bright side if they fire Marvin Lewis where do they go next? To be honest Injuries killed this team.
Yeah a team that was on it's way to 0-16, and got 1 win no. Enjoy having Vontae Mack lol.
In 2016 they were 1 and 15
Very disappointing season who knew the Panthers would end up being last in the division never would of saw that coming. Yet, they haven't lost a ton of guys so they could bounce back they have the coaches all there still.
A solid 9-6 without key members of the Legion of Boon Lam Chancellor and Richard Sherman. They could still make playoffs if Falcons lose to Panthers and of they best cardinals in week 17.
