1 Korn Korn is an American nu-metal band from Bakersfield, California, formed in 1993. The band's current lineup includes founding members Jonathan Davis, James "Munky" Shaffer, Brian "Head" Welch, and Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu, with the addition of Ray Luzier, who replaced the band's original member, David Silveria in 2007. Korn was originally formed by three of the members of the band L.A.P.D. Korn is best known for their vocalist's aggressive tone and sometimes considered by some, "strange lyrics". The bands best known songs are "Freak on a Leash" and "Falling Away From Me". Their best known albums include their self titled album (1994), Life is Peachy (1996), Follow the Leader (1998), and Issues (1999).
2 Staind Staind was a post-grunge/alternative metal band formed in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1995. Staind is Aaron Lewis (vocalist and guitarist), Jon Wysocki (drummer, left in 2011), Johnny April (bassist), and Mike Mushok (guitarist). After Jon's departure Sal Giancarelli filled in as drummer until the band's hiatus in 2012. Staind's early sound was predominantly nu metal, then they verged into softer territory with passing albums, becoming more post-grunge in sound. Many of Staind's song deal with depression, substance abuse, death, and similar subjects. The band has enjoyed modest success off of such songs. 8 Sevendust Sevendust is an American alternative metal quintet from Atlanta, dating back to 1994.

The band was initially formed by Vince Hornsby (bassist) and Morgan Rose (drummer) under the name Snake Nation. John Connolly (guitarist) and Lajon Witherspoon (lead vocalist) would later join along with Clint Lowery (guitarist) and they would be renamed Rumblefish. After finding out the name was taken, they changed their name to Crawlspace, releasing the song "My Ruin" to the Mortal Kombat soundtrack called "More Kombat". The name Crawlspace belonged to yet another band, and they settled on the name Sevendust after an insecticide brand called "Sevin Dust".
