Most Overrated Movies of 2016

Overrated for what? Because the leading actress ( Amy Adams ) wasn't nominated at the Oscars when she did in fact deseved to be nominated? Because it's too slow? Because there's not enough action, shooting and blood? Can someone tell me why it's too overrated ( and ranked number 1 on this list ) because all the arguments I wrote are arguments for stupid little kids who aren't able to watch good movies. So, what is the reason?

Why is this 1st?!?!? Did I watch a completely different film to everyone else or something, I thought it was brilliant.

Decent but not great. Should of got only 64%

The warehouse fight scene is so overrated. That scene was nothing mindblowing unlike how fanboys hyped it. The Winter Soldier's highway fight scene, Deadpool's highway fight scene, Civil War's airport battle, Dark Knight's swat fight scene, Dark Knight Rises sewer fight scene, Logan's forest fight scene, Spiderman 2's train battle etc were all superior to that overrated CGI warehouse mess. Also Batman is supposed to be a great detective with tactics and brains and not a total murderous whiney dumbass. I wonder these so called Batman fanboys have read any comics. As a DC comic fan, this film was an utter crap.

The worst is the movie's fanbase. They think this is a masterpiece and can't accept it sucked. They are so annoying and they keep on bashing out marvel movies. I also hear that now they are even bashing Nolan movies. That is funny because his movies saved DC. DC movies sucked since 90s and was almost forgotten until Nolan saved their ass and built up the respect for DC. But now they messed up again with the DCEU. But I can't blame DC for that. The problem is the fanbase. They have such crappy taste for movies. No wonder DC movies are now crap. They are forced to make such crappy garbage movies because the fanboys like it in that way due to their crappy taste. Even the MCU's worst film (Thor 2) still got a better rating than DCEU'S best rated movie (Man of Steel). DC movies are garbage if you exclude the Dark Knight movies. Anyway I don't have to worry about it because I am with Marvel.

This should be number 1! Unlike arrival, at least arrival was good! Rouge one is a painful peice of crap! More overrated than the stupid life of pets!

This is painfully overrated. It's so boring and unnecessary.

It wasn't "that bad", but it wasn't that good either. The plot line was funny, but could have been wayyy better. It almost seemed cliche. But it sort of bugs me that Harley Quinn didn't show up in a movie until Suicide Squad, and her being overdone in schools, and young kids made the movie so overrated. Like I said, not 100%, but not 0%. Maybe a 60% or so.

Suicide squad is underrated, I don't know where all this ''this movie is overrated! '' bull-crap comes from, I mean give us an explained reason why this movie is over appreciated, almost everyone hates it and is considered to be one of the worst superhero movies of all time. you know what I'm willing to bet the reason to say that it's ''said'' overrated is so that you can hate it more

This is awesome stuff. It's not overrated at all it's underrated because of the critics. I understand if you hate this film (probably the plot and budget) but personally I like this.

Why does this have to win so may awards..? Why do musicals get the awards..? I don't get it. This is incredibly overrated for sure.

Finding Dory isn't as emotionally gripping that Finding Nemo was.

Angry Birds' popularity has already run its course, no need to rehash it with a movie that probably won't be very good.

Psych! I don't like this movie at all, let alone think it's anywhere in the league of, say, Beauty and the Beast, the Toy Story Trilogy, or The Lion King. But the fans sure have decided that anyone who doesn't think it's the Best Disney Movie Of All Time is a bigot.

Most overrated cartoon on earth. While it's good, it's overrated by the furries and man-child.

Get this off the list

This was complete and utter brain-rotting garbage. Kids and adults alike would be repulsed. Lackluster, unoriginal, and forgettable.
Don't waste your time with this cinematic trash.

This was my favourite movie of 2016 and was way better than that so called overhyped crap DC disappointments Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad

.Zack Snyder messed up BvS. I was so excited about this movie and was damn disappointed. I can't believe the man who made awesome movies like Man of Steel and Watchmen ended up with this.

This movie was sooo overrated that I'm flabbergasted that it's racking up award nominations. Yes, it was funny. It was funny to see Ryan Reynolds break the fourth wall. That's all it had going for it. It was such a badly written film that I cannot believe that so many people praised it to the sky.

If you thought batman vs superman and suicide squad were disappointing comic movies, wait till ya get a load of this. this whole film took place just in two places, and it felt more focused on wade Wilson rather than the star itself. at least bvs and ss had more going on than this pile of crap

Not a bad movie by any means, but I don't think it was worthy of Best Picture, as I felt the story didn't really go anywhere. I also don't get why Naomie Harris was nominated for Supporting Actress, as I found her performance a bit hammy. Mahershala Ali was great, the best part in fact, but unfortunately, he disappears after the first act, so that kinda ruined the movie for me a bit. I see why it's an important film, but it wasn't as great as I thought it was going to be.

Oh my god...this is horrid at all costs! Aaah! Got way too many awards for a pathetic film. The acting is so atrocious too...*vomits*

Who would have predicted that Mel Gibson could ever be in Oscar contention again? Well he is. For this fairly average movie.

This is only mediocre, it's way too awarded like La La Land.
