Not really overrated, just one of the greatest rock and roll bands. It's not the accolades earned, concert world tours, nor albums sold which were their achievements. It's the respect they deserve from their fans. That's a good reason why Coldplay has worked so hard to entertain the world to sing along. Coldplay has huge hit songs they have written such as "Yellow", "Fix You", "Adventure of a Lifetime", "Clocks", "Viva La Vida", "Scientist", and many more! These guys made a great career as rock stars.

How can you say that they are overrated? Come on guys

18 Ed Sheeran Edward Christopher "Ed" Sheeran is an English singer-songwriter and musician. He sang songs such as The A team and Shape of You. He was born in Hebden Bridge in Yorkshire and raised in Framlingham, Suffolk.

Very talented, I like him more than whatever tops the charts these days. But he gets so much praise for something people have been doing for years

He just sounds like any other music academy singer in the charts there's nothing unique about his music

Eh I don't know bout that. He works very hard and deserves respect from all the great music he's made

Stupid meaningless music, fame based on looks, they live for the drama and getting wasted. Can't sing well enough or give a decent show.

They are only famous because of One Direction and their looks. Their songs are run-of-the-mill

No one give 5sos enough credit. They’ve written songs that are really real, relatable, and meaningful. Like Hey Everybody, Broken Home, Invisible, She’s Kinda Hot, Outer Space/ Carry On, Green light, Good Girls, Jet Black Heart, etc. They actually have talent, it’s just that no one bothers to see it. And they are quite kind to their fans

That is the most annoying band.I cannot even listen to their newest song "Hey Everybody".It makes me wanna kill myself. They say they are rock band, just because they play instruments (electric guitar, bass, drums). If they are, then they're the worst rock band on world. They will never be like Blink 182. I have nothing against their songs "She looks so perfect" and "She's kinda hot".These two songs aren't bad nor good for me. Their fans are mostly female and they rarely talk about their music, they mostly talk about their looks and are constantly fighting over them. So,in a nutshell:5SOS sucks(at least for me)

But what class of sick joke is this? BVB? Really? Come on the critics are very neutral to them, how the hell they are going to be more overrated than Taylor Swift, Katy Perry or Twenty One Pilots?

Have big fanbase but not as talented as they are portrayed

25 David Bowie David Robert Jones, known professionally as David Bowie (January 8, 1947 - January 10, 2016) was an English singer born in London, the son of a fundraiser and a waitress. The man who the world knew as David Bowie was an actor, a painter, a philosopher, and many other things. But first and foremost, and what he was known for most, he was a rock star, covering every genre from psychedelic folk to industrial. His influence on fashion, music, and pop culture in general remains as his legacy--along, of course, with his unforgettable music.

What! He is one of the best music artists of all time compared to Justin Bieber and Iggy Azalea.

Tony Newelly sounding strangled cat! Most of his 'great originality' was pinched from other artists, e.g. Velvet Underground, Stones, Scott Walker..,
