These music artists might not necessarily be overrated in general, but they are on this website.
The Top Ten
1 Dimash Kudaibergen Dinmukhamed Kanatuly Kudaibergenov, commonly known as Dimash Kudaibergen (born May 24th, 1994) is a Kazakh singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Dimash is best known as a contestant of Chinese talent show "Singer 2017" where he was declared a runner-up. He is also known for possessing a wide ...read more.

Always the same voice, just different songs. Relies wayyy too much on his vocal range and over the top vocal antics. Can't write songs. He often gets credited with writing 'Unforgettable Day but the lyrics are actually from a well known poem in his country. As for his other original songs his dad and his godfather have done the majority for the composing & almost all of the lyrics for the small number of 'original songs' he has sang). In TB he sang 3 songs that he also sang on Singer 2017; no new stuff. His English pop venture (Screaming) was not good. It sounds like a song that Justin Beiber & probably several other commercial pop artists turned down. Sings almost exclusively in classical/opera styles which have no significant shelf life in the music industry. He actually isn't a very versatile artist; if he only had 4 octaves (which is still exceptional) nobody would listen to him on such a large scale He has sang in many different languages & the verdict is that he butchers them ...more

He. Can’t. Sing. Falsetto yodeling and other vocal gymnastics does not a singer make. His concerts consist of a state-of-the-art soundboard system that looks like something that belongs at NASA. He is a good performer that knows how to use auto tune and other electronic manipulations to please the kiddie crowd desperate for someone to fawn over. It is doubtful you will ever hear him away from his machinery.

He is #1 on a list of OVERRATED music artists, and there is still a lot of praise for him in the comments. I swear if he was #1 on the list of worst singers, 90% of the comments would still be praising him.

Dimash might be an incredible singer but he is way too much worshipped by his fans even though the last good performance was months ago. And I say this as a Dear myself!

2 Jackie Evancho Jacqueline Marie "Jackie" Evancho is an American classical crossover singer who gained wide recognition at an early age. Since 2009, she has issued an EP and eight albums, including a platinum and gold album, and three Billboard 200 top 10 debuts. Evancho's latest album 'The Debut', was her eighth consecutive release to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Classical Albums chart. In 2017, Evancho performed the U.S. national anthem at the presidential inauguration of Donald Trump and became the youngest person ever to perform a concert series at Café Carlyle.

Finally! A Top Ten site who puts this girl on number one for the real reasons! Sick and tired to see her as number one on list like " Best smile ", " Most beautiful eyes ", " Best this and Most that... ".

To the fans of Jackie Evancho, we get it. You love her to death. But please, PLEASE just chill out and let people have their own tastes. Even Jackie is worthy of criticism.

She is not as overrated as much as she used to be in the past. Then again, the site does change overtime.

She's a great singer, no doubt. Although I do think there are other singers in "Got Talent" that also deserve attention.

Freddie Mercury at #1 is a joke. Jackie Evancho should be #1.

3 Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin was an English hard rock band formed in London in 1968 as the New Yardbirds. The group consisted of Robert Plant (Vocal), Jimmy Page (Guitar), John Paul Jones (Bass, Keyboard) and John Bonham (Drums) and was very much the child of Jimmy Page who even financed their first tour. He had tasted some previous success with The [original] Yardbirds and was friendly with some big names in rock. Page states it was Keith Moon of The Who that claimed the band could only go down, like a lead balloon -- thus prompting the iconic name of Led Zeppelin. The band's heavy, guitar-driven sound, rooted in blues and psychedelia on their early albums, has earned them recognition as one of the progenitors ...read more.

Yes they are very overrated they are number 1 on the best rock bands list when they don't deserve it because of the fact that almost all of there songs are plagiarized

Honestly, I think they're more overhated than overrated in this site. I do get why people hate them though.

Led Zeppelin I would say are more overrated in terms of regular votes than by spam voting.

Far the way minor in comparation to Cream and The Jimi Hendrix Experience.

4 K.S. Chithra Krishnan Nair Shantakumari Chithra, often credited as K. S. Chithra or simply Chithra, is an Indian playback singer from Kerala. Chithra also sings Indian classical, devotional, and popular music.

Who the hell is this? I just see a hag with a mic, with hundreds of comments for her on every list she is in, I dunno why ( don't even want to )...But yeah...overrated.

The most popular singer in India, a nation of over 1,000,000,000 people.

He died on November 24, 1991 from bronchopneumonia as a result from HIV/AIDS

He's a good singer but people need to learn that he isn't jesus reincarnated and people have every right to dislike him.

Not anywhere close to the beatles, hendrix, or elvis, among many others.

Over-rated, over-played, and over-praised. Good, but not great.

Freddie Mercury is UNDER-RATED!

8 Nirvana Nirvana was an American grunge band that was formed in Aberdeen, Washington in 1987. Nirvana disbanded after Kurt Cobain committed suicide in 1994. The drummer of the band, David Grohl, went on to start the Foo-Fighters, an alternative rock band.

Personally for me, the most overrated music artist I could think of. Good? Of course they are. But they get way more attention than any band deserves. In fact, people own/wear Nirvana merchandises and they might have not even heard a song by them.

Most people on this site (including myself) hate her, So I wouldn't call her overrated.

Carlos Santana nailed it perfectly, when he said Adele was a singer, while Beyoncé was just a performance artist. The truth hurts.

She copied Halsey's album cover.

So overrated.

Overrated what? The only way they could be overrated would be if they were not in fact the greatest band of all time, and anybody who thinks that they are not the greatest is wrong, wrong, wrong.

There are a lot of way more musically interesting bands, but for some reasons it is The Beatles that still considered as the best rock band ever by many people.
Still, I like these guys.

It's almost disgusting that if somebody don't like this band as others do, then that one is a "retard" in the eyes of the Beatles fans...

Beatles fans can't accept opinion.

Eh, I tend to see more disdain on Taylor Swift in this website than praise. She's actually a really good music artist (Or was), which is a shame as she's now progressively wasting her talents in material like Reputation.

Also, I do think she legitimately cares for her fans (Not talking about the godawful LWYMMD). She went as far as to meet a tween, Delaney Clements, who was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma back in December 2015. That was a really sweet moment if you ask me.

17 Rihanna Robyn Rihanna Fenty is a Barbadian-American pop singer. Born in Saint Michael and raised in Bridgetown, she first entered the music industry by recording demo tapes under the direction of record producer Evan Rogers in 2003. She ultimately signed a recording contract with Def Jam Recordings after auditioning for its then-president, hip-hop producer and rapper Jay Z.

No offense daisyandrosalina but Rihanna kind of sucks to be honest.

One of the worst voices ever

My favourite band can't escape from being called overrated and I accept that. They're the most versatile and best out of the big four (your choice is subjective) but Metallica had had its downs and embarrassments.

They're not a terrible band, but they're extremely overpraised on this site.

Must be number 1

19 Eminem Eminem, born Marshall Bruce Mathers III, is an American rapper, actor and music producer born on October 17, 1972 in St. Joseph, Missouri. Including his work with D12 and Bad Meets Evil, Eminem has had ten number-one albums on the Billboard 200 and 5 number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100, and 13 worldwide.

He struggled for the fame he receives today, in my opinion not overrated but deserved

I can name about 5 (or more) rappers that are arguably better.

How is Freddie at #1?

20 Queen Queen are an English rock band formed in London in 1970. Yeah, I don't see much praise on this band nowadays in this site. They're pretty good that's for sure and they're one of the best gateway bands for Heavy Metal. Although the overpraise and hate on The Rev needs to stop. And I'm surprised no one has spoke about The Stage, which may be the band's best and most experimental effort to date.
