Most Overrated Shows On Nickelodeon

Basically SpongeBob will become Number 1 without a doubt but might as well look at some other opinions.
The Top Ten
1 Fairly Odd Parents The Fairly OddParents is an American animated television series created by Butch Hartman for Nickelodeon.

I love the first five seasons, they are classics. The 6th season has some okay episodes. Seasons 7-10 are garbage. I still enjoy the first five seasons. Despite that, I consider this show to be a little bit overrated.

This Show Actually Isn't Overrated, Because Everyone Is Hating On This Show Because Of The New Episodes. Same Thing With SpongeBob SquarePants.

I tried to watch this a few times. Maybe I was too old to enjoy it, but this is one of the worst Nick shows and the reason I gave up on the channel.

Yeah I know. When people say it's underrated, it's not. It's overrated by millions of fans.

2 Doug Doug is an American animated sitcom created by Jim Jinkins. The show focuses on the early adolescent life of its title character, Douglas "Doug" Funnie, who experiences common predicaments while attending school in his new hometown of Bluffington. Doug narrates each story in his journal, and the show incorporates many imagination sequences. The series addresses numerous topics, including trying to fit in, platonic and romantic relationships, self-esteem, bullying, and rumors. Numerous episodes center on Doug's attempts to impress his classmate and crush, Patti Mayonnaise. ...read more.

Underrated. I've seen a ton of people say it's just a blander version of Hey Arnold. While I admit I prefer Hey Arnold, Doug is still a solid show.

Doug's not even good, it's only popular because people remember it.

Yes, it's very underrated. I'm glad someone finally noticed.

Yeah, because the Disney reboot is overhated.

3 Avatar: The Last Airbender Avatar: The Last Airbender is an American animated television series that aired for three seasons on Nickelodeon from 2005 to 2008. Avatar: The Last Airbender is set in an Asiatic-like world in which some people are able to manipulate the classical elements by use of psychokinetic variants of Chinese martial arts, known as "bending". This show is often seen as one of the greatest cartoons of all time and is commonly thought to be an anime.

Overrated in my opinion. Watched it, and it was nothing special. Everyone keeps talking about it, it's not underrated.

Don't get me wrong. I liked Avatar, but it's not the insanely amazing wonderful flawless thing people make it out to be. it's good, just not...THAT good.

Not overrated at all, but very underrated, it was such a masterpiece.

Amazing show, but not as good as people make it out to be.

4 Ren and Stimpy The Ren & Stimpy Show, often simply referred to as Ren & Stimpy, is an American animated television series created by John Kricfalusi for Nickelodeon.
5 Zoey 101 Zoey 101 is an American teen drama television series which originally aired on Nickelodeon from January 9, 2005 until May 2, 2008. It focuses on the lives of teenager Zoey Brooks (Jamie Lynn Spears), her brother (Paul Butcher), and her friends as they attend Pacific Coast Academy (PCA), a fictional boarding school in Southern California.

Overrated by Drake & Josh, This show had no canned laughter, and it was still funny, and it had a better storyline.

6 iCarly iCarly is an American teen sitcom that ran on Nickelodeon from September 8, 2007 until November 23, 2012. The series, created by Dan Schneider, focuses on teenager Carly Shay, who creates her own web show called iCarly with her best friends Sam Puckett and Freddie Benson.

Say what you want, but this is a good show.

Great and underrated show.

The series revolves around aspiring singer Tori Vega, a teenager who attends a performing arts high school called Hollywood Arts High School, after taking her older sister Trina's place in a showcase while getting into screwball situations on a daily and more and more adventures. Tori Vega is played by actress Victoria Justice.

She can't sing anymore because of Ariana Grande, and this show lacks plot.

8 Spongebob Squarepants SpongeBob SquarePants is an American animated television series created by marine biologist and animator the late Stephen Hillenburg for Nickelodeon. SpongeBob is currently the most popular show on Nickelodeon, as well as the longest running show, running for 23 years, and is beginning its 13th season. The show revolves around a sea sponge called SpongeBob SquarePants and his adventures under the sea. The show is considered to be one of the best Nickelodeon and cartoon shows of all time.

One of the most overrated nickelodeon shows or nicktoons and one of the worst part of the modern spongebob is how the characters are so annoying and one dimensional

The old SpongeBob was the best, and the movie was awesome too. But the new ones stink.

The first five seasons were a LOT better. It's been improving a lot lately, though.

Actually, the older ones are better.

9 Degrassi Degrassi: The Next Generation (later renamed Degrassi for seasons ten through fourteen) is a Canadian teen drama television series set in the Degrassi universe, which was created by Linda Schuyler and Kit Hood in 1979. It is the fourth series in the Degrassi franchise, following The Kids of Degrassi Street, Degrassi Junior High, and Degrassi High. Like its predecessors, the series follows an ensemble cast of students at Degrassi Community School who face various challenges often seen as taboo such as sex, teen pregnancy, date rape, drug abuse, self image, homosexuality, self-injury, suicide, abortion, domestic violence, death, racism and many other issues.

Should be number NEGATIVE one million

This is not appropriate for kids.

This is on TeenNick

10 Cat Dog

More underrated than overrated.

The Contenders
11 Hey Arnold! Hey Arnold! is an American animated television series created by Craig Bartlett that aired on Nickelodeon from October 7, 1996 to June 8, 2004. The show centers on a fourth grader named Arnold, who lives with his grandparents in an inner-city boarding house.

It's beyond overrated (like every 90s Nicktoon). The fans are beyond rabid, and you're pretty much crucified for simply saying you don't care for the show. People praise HA too much and quite honestly, it's very boring. I disliked it as a kid, and rewatching it as an adult, I still don't like it. Hey Arnold isn't the best show ever, get over it.

Hey Arnold! wasn't overrated, it's just that a lot of people like it. It's my favorite show, and that's not why I'm saying it's not really overrated. And no offense to any Rugrats fans, but that show is pretty overrated. If you think Hey Arnold! is overrated, you obviously haven't heard of Rugrats!

12 Drake and Josh Drake & Josh is an American television sitcom created by Dan Schneider for Nickelodeon. The series follows the lives of two teenage boys with opposite personalities, Drake Parker (Drake Bell) and Josh Nichols (Josh Peck), who become stepbrothers. Both actors previously appeared in The Amanda Show along with Nancy Sullivan, who plays Drake and Megan's mother in the series. Miranda Cosgrove plays Megan, Drake's mischievous younger sister, and Jonathan Goldstein plays Walter, Josh's father. The series' opening theme song, "Found a Way", is written by Drake Bell and Backhouse Mike and performed by Bell. The series ran from January 11, 2004, to September 16, 2007, totaling 57 episodes in 4 seasons. ...read more.

This was the best sitcom Nick has made.

Wait this was a show

Rugrats was one of the best shows on Nick.

Originally set to premier on January 2016, the series instead premiered on May 2, 2016, with the episodes Left in the Dark and Get the Message.

Doesn't appeal to grownups in the same way as many of the best cartoons made by both Disney and Cartoon Network as of late.

17 Angry Beavers

One of my favorite shows. Not overrated at all, rather underrated.

18 Sam & Cat Sam & Cat is an American teen sitcom that originally aired from June 8, 2013, to July 17, 2014, on Nickelodeon. It is a crossover spin-off/sequel of both iCarly and Victorious.

It was taken of because the charecter cat (Ariana Grande) was a charecter that lacks goodness

Thank you Nick for cancelling this show.

19 Invader ZIM Invader Zim is an American animated television series created by Jhonen Vasquez for Nickelodeon. The series centers on an extraterrestrial named Zim from the planet Irk, and his mission to conquer Earth and enslave the human race along with his malfunctioning robot servant GIR.
20 Make It Pop Make It Pop is a K-pop inspired Canadian–American musical comedy series in a telenovela-like format that currently airs on Nickelodeon in the United States and on YTV in Canada.

Make It Pop is so racist and it became so popular, just for money, it's way too overrated.

is this a kids bop show?

Why is this one of the most popular shows of all time? It's a preschool show!

22 Rocko's Modern Life Rocko's Modern Life is an American animated television series created by Joe Murray for Nickelodeon. The series centers on the surreal life of an anthropomorphic Australian-immigrant wallaby named Rocko as well as his friends: the gluttonous steer Heffer, the neurotic turtle Filburt, and Rocko's faithful dog Spunky.

Truthfully, this show gets FAR too much praise for being mistreated and overlooked, yet is also occasionally slandered by critics for being a so-called "cheap and tasteless ripoff of Ren & Stimpy". However, it is still an eternal classic in my opinion. I wish more people recognized it as the original and VASTLY superior version of SpongeBob.

Just because this show borrows elements from R&S does not mean that it was actually intended as a blatant and deliberate rip-off. Seriously, think about it for a second, do some research and you'll understand.

23 See Dad Run See Dad Run is an American sitcom television series that premiered on Nick at Nite on October 6, 2012. It stars Scott Baio, who also serves as an executive producer. On March 17, 2014, Nick at Nite confirmed that season three would be the last season.
24 React to That

Nick's latest YouTube-imported show, which thankfully got cancelled, it was so overrated.

25 Mr. Meaty Mr. Meaty is a Canadian-American television series created by Jamie Shannon and Jason Hopley. The show centers on two lazy teenage boys named Josh Redgrove and Parker Dinkleman, who work at a fast food restaurant.

This show was terrible.
