Dave is on this list because he was great. The Cobra was named National League MVP in 1978. In his Pirate career, he was a 3-time Gold Glove winner from 1977 to 1979, and a champion on the Pittsburgh Pirates team in 1979. Dave also was a good hitter; he was a batting champion in both 1977 and 1978.
