Arbok is overall the strongest pure poison type Pokemon because its one of the only pure poison Pokemon that could learn earthquake which could take out probably almost all of your opponent's Pokemon, plus it can learn moves such as stockpile, swallow, and spit up that will make it unstoppable except probably, when its opponents are psychic types that could levitate, some ghost types, and some Pokemon that could learn ground type moves, but what are the odds of that?
