I would go with the protagonist. Don't get me wrong, Gat is bada$$, but the protagonist took out many gangs. Heck, he/she even took out aliens. Also, the protagonist is customizable, which I actually like.

You can make the protagonist Gat you know. But yeah, the protagonist has it's own personality and it's probably the most relatable (which is kinda obvious)

I'm sure the protagonist it's much better than Johnny Gat, well that's what my experience as a member of the third street Saints told me.

I take Carlos, I think these two are one of the most forgettable Saints Row characters, but I pick Carlos

I prefer Matt Miller he is such a cool hacker while Benjamin King it's only a boring book writer.

I don't really know Angelo Lopez (i didn't play Saints Row 1), So I would go with Sunshine. Mr.Sunshine survived multiple bullets which made me satisfied, I also love the way he talks.

Veteran Child is nothing compared with Gat's assassinator.

Brotherhood it's one of the most forgettable Saints Row gangs while Los Carnales were such a really cool gang with a lot of cool spanish quotes.
