Top Ten Reasons Why Five Is a Better, More Significant Number Than Four
Take that Pos.. Feel free to edit this description, if revenge is your thing. This is about as math related a list that I'll ever do, by the way. That is, if you're treating discrete variables. If it's a continuous function, it couldn't be simpler.
Yes, yes, yes! I absolutley HATE it when I have to find the median in an even set of numbers.
I honestly think that 4 is a better number. Sorry.
I believe I said 4 is the smallest composite number. Polar opposites! Primes may be cool, but they're not as useful.
Making it rather special and much more cool than the typical four!
I don't like prime numbers. They're so annoying in denominators. Four!
But 4 is an even number. So 4 is a composite number.
Counting by fours takes a lot more thought than counting by fives, as well! Not hard, but hardER, that is...
But I did love your description.
Yes quite, but on the contrary so is 40/4.
Saved this reason for this spot...
Lol why is there a list for this
2,4,6,8,10. That can count!
A poor attempt to appeal to Pos' unwavering opinion that four is the best, but nonetheless, an attempt.
Am I allowed to skip straight to #5 on a TTT list though? Seems a bit unfitting for this specific topic...
Well in that case then there definitely is a fourth fundamental interaction of physics.
Although the "hello" trick is a classic calculator gimmick! And maybe 5 looks a bit like an "s" when scrawled quickly, but... "y" I much more common in algebra!
When you write 5 by hand it looks similar to "S". Which is kinda weird when I use it in my kinematical, energy and surface tension equations. Also I'm not even talking about the integration symbol.
Not if you write it properly, it doesn't!
Really? Because my 4s look like 9s
Water, fire, air, earth, and ether. Whatever the heck ether is. The point is, Aristotle said so.
Also, for East Asia, it's water, fire, air, earth, wood, and metal. And intellectually, I wouldn't challenge us Asians (jk)!
The Beatles were considered the Big Four! And the debate between them and Michael is big on this site!
Not to mention, The Rolling Stones had five members, and the Beatles had four. I know which I'd choose.
The Jackson Five > The Big Four (The Beatles)?
I just don't know...
Picked the wrong reason, keys! The Dave Clark Five is much better…
The total number of hands and feet, four. Thus, the total number of fingers and toes is 20, or 4 times 5. Seems we're at an impasse.
Well, hopefully most of you! I mean, four fingers, I think I'd stick to five!
I fart five times a day. Just kidding!
I guess when you count the thumb.
Taste, smell, touch, hearing, and sight. Though had to put this last because of the existence of far more senses. But whatever, you've got nine valid arguments as well, I'm allowed to laze out... Right? Ah well, too much energy to exert on such an argument.
Deadmau5 has an album with the numbers 4 and 12 in it. But it was his fifth.
Take that, PositronWildhawk. Now what do you think?
Ouch. That's gotta hurt the Hawk.
This mainly applies to Asians.
