The story of ME3 was great. New characters were brought into the series. Old characters returned to help you, and some of them even died which created an interesting atmosphere. The team did a great job on the game up until the end.

The use of the citadel was much more than you could ever do in ME2 and almost on par with the first one.

Some side-missions were very good, especially the one where you had to rescue the students from the academy, the Rachni Mission and rescuing the former Cerberus scientists

I thought planet scanning was quite a good feature.
