Top 10 Reasons Why Toy Story is Better Than the Lego Movie

This goes for the entire Toy Story Trilogy as whole, by the way.
The Top Ten
1 Toy Story has a much better plot

Although I love Lego,i'll agree that Toy Story is better than the Lego Movie.

Phew, we're safe from those Lego Movie fans

2 Toy Story had more emotion

It does, and I'm so glad there are no Lego Movie fans here to troll us and say "I like both movies and you idiots are comparing them frowny face" over and over again

FINALLY! a list without those stupid Lego worshippers to troll us, call us "racist", and repeat everything they say over and over again

3 The first Toy Story was the first full-length CGI feature The Lego Movie wasn't the first anything as far as animation technique

ONLY the credits were stop-motion, and even if the whole movie were stop-motion there were plenty other stop-motion films before 2014.

4 You've Got a Friend in Me is better than Everything Is Awesome

Oh my gosh yes. At times when I hear You've got a friend in me I feel all nostalgic. Toy Story forever, though the new shorts are just dumb. Plus I heard that there is going to be a Toy Story 4 that's coming out in 2017 like three years ago so I'm wondering that if it comes out that it will bring the same nostalgia all over again (though the third movie was a great conclusion) or if it will end up like the shorts and T.V. specials (which kinda suck in my opinion).

Yes. Everything is Awesome is a lot more annoying than You've Got a Friend in Me. If you think otherwise, I respect your opinion.

How ironic that "You've Got A Friend In Me" is actually awesome yet "Everything Is Awesome" is dumb and annoying

Way better everything is awesome is overrated friend in me is amazing

5 Nearly getting blown up, torn apart, and burned is much worse than nearly getting glued in place
6 Toy Story made much better use of its "all star" cast
7 Toy Story doesn't feel like a commercial for anything, not even the real-life toys featured
8 Andy was always free to play with the toys however he wanted, with no interference from his mother or the toys themselves

And a big deal wasn't made about how he played with the toys, either. Yes, Sid's method of playing was a problem but that's because for him "playing" really was just another word for "destroying".

9 Buzz Lightyear doesn't scream "spaceship" repeatedly
10 The Lego Movie was just some lame jokes with a cliche plot and weird idea of a twist thrown in
