Top Ten Best Rock Albums of 2001
Origin of Symmetry is the first truly great album by Muse and home to some of their best songs. Showbiz was alright with some good tracks, but nowhere near THIS. Let's look at the songs:
New Born: 10/10: Chilling piano intro with Bellamy showing the softer side of his vocals, followed by a sudden, electrifying guitar bridge and hard hitting rock.
Bliss: 10/10: I believe I heard somewhere that this is Matt's personal favorite track. It's not hard to see why. It's fantastic guitar riff and Bellamy's powerful voice make Bliss the most beautiful song about electronically transferring emotions.
Space Dementia: 9/10: Great space opera track with haunting piano and vocals. Not much else to say.
Hyper Music: 8/10: Good track, though personally not my favorite. Good riff, just itger tracks I'd rather listen to.
Plug In Baby: 10/10: If I could go past 10 I would. One of, if not THE, best riffs of the 21st century, a nice bass line, and an explosive chorus. PURE GOLD.
