1 Queen Queen are an English rock band formed in London in 1970. Before forming into Queen, Brian May and Roger Taylor had played together in a band named Smile. The only reason the Beatles are number one is they predate Queen. Queens music was much more versatile, complex, and every member wrote number one hits. Also Freddie's voice was incomparable.

I agree. Queen made much various and complex music, they were much more talented musicians. P.ex. Ringo Star can"t play drums, and it's a fact.
