Saddest Moby Songs
Moby has something unique about his songs, where you feel good to feel sad. And this is his saddest. The song has sad lyrics and the video is sad too
I love this song. The funny thing is, is that I didn't know it was Moby for a long time after I'd heard it and it stuck in my head.
"Why does my heart feel so bad? " says it all really.
I'll be sure to check out the other Moby songs listed.
Every time I hear this song I cry. It makes me reflect. It is a beautiful song
The year is 2020 and so many people died from the coronavirus infection. What is this world coming to?
If you don't feel sad as you play this, you don't have eardrums
I don't think that Natural Blues should be above things like When it's cold I'd like to the but it does have a melancholic vibe.
I think "Don't nobody know my trouble but God? " tells one enough.
Hi PositronWildhawk. Well, you already know how I feel about this glorious song.
Whispering Wind was the first Moby song I really listened to, on the recommendation of PositronWildhawk. I came away deeply moved. Thank-you, Positron.
One of his most underrated, if you ask yours truly
An absolutely beautiful - yet heartbreaking piece of music. It gives me a feeling of nostalgia about the times gone and the people lost. It reminds me of how fast the world and everyone in it has moved on - and makes me question if I've truly moved on with it. With Goese's haunting vocals and Moby's blissful instrumental, 'When It's Cold I'd Like to Die', in my opinion, is definitely Moby's most emotional piece of music to date. I always like to see this song as Moby's take on Sigur Ros.
Probably the saddest song in the whole genre.
It makes me feel like I am going to die
What's sadder still is the official music video. Heartbreaking.
This is such a beautiful song! I don't know if I would call it depressing, it just sounds more like a love song. Easily one of my favorites.
You think this is sad? Wait till' you watch the video
The whole album is very sad and depressive. I want all the songs on it to be on this list. This is my favorite from EWBaNH.
Instrumental, actually. But a very haunting sound.
I'm sorry but I don't see it. This song just isn't sad at all to me. Maybe it's because I've heard Wait For Me and Destroyed.
Money's birthday is on September 11, I feel bad for the poor guy, who wants their birthday ion 9/11?
I don't know if anyone feels the same way but it hurts me to listen to this song. Probably because it sounds so sad!
The effect this song has on me lasts all day! I feel great sorrow from it and I can only get so much of it.
Very true. I love this song, but it is a sad one.
This gives me the chills every time. "He only just discovered the sun on the last day." So melancholic and disturbing but I love it!
