Mufasa is a major character in Disney's 1994 animated feature film, The Lion King. He is Simba's father, Sarabi's mate, Scar's older brother, and was King of the Pride Lands until his death. He is voiced by James Earl Jones. I didn't cry at this scene. STOP ACTING LIKE A BUNCH OF WHINY CRYBABIES, PEOPLE! He's just a fictional character. There is no sadness during this scene.
Also, Mufasa is not a relatable character and not worth caring for. He was a bigoted, fascist dictator who forced a whole species of hyena to starve for no reason, just because the movie portrays ALL hyenas as villains instead of just a few. How would you like it if someone forced you to starve? I wouldn't. There are worse and sadder things happening in real-life than in fiction, and you can't get arrested and go to jail for saying "I'm happy Mufasa died! ", since The Lion King's characters are just fictional, not real people.
I'm happy he died. He deserved it after he forced a species to starve to death.
