Would of voted for them but they're not really emo. Only particular songs are. Danger Days definitely isn't emo. Plus, Gerard doesn't like being called emo. I love this band though.

I kinda don't agree their emo, the lead singer hates being called an emo band. It deserves top on any list though. Killjoys, make some noise!

Best band ever. Whether or not you think they count as emo, they deserve to be on the top of every list.

Aguably less emo now, but it's their darker songs that have become so synonymous to the genre for me. They're able to express darkness, fear and emotion without ending up a screaming mess. Cody puts so much effort into his songwriting and singing along with the other members (Maxx, Zach, Dan and formerly Austin) that it's a real shame theu don't get the recognition they deserve by the general public and music charts.

Set it off is a really good band there songs are the best!
