Still one of the most entertaining games ever made sonic the hedgehog 2 is bigger better and more fun because you have the choice of picking a companion!
This game is addictive it has great level design, brilliant music and is just so fun. Sonic the hedgehog 2 was legendary but the original started it off so this deserves higher number.
Challenging and fun, this is a great start to the series. What's with the Sonic 2 picture though?

Brilliant platformer but it is hard over 100 levels very challengeing but really cool story and levels to keep you entertained for a while
Brilliant art style, love the music and cool levels this game is awesome for people who have played streets of rage very similar.
This game proved what a machine the mega drive was down to style gameplay and the epic music this defiantly has earned number 1 on this this list!
