Top Ten Best Sega & Nintendo Characters
Link refers to several different incarnations of the same protagonist of Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda series. Only my characters are good. Sega is not good. Nintendo is the best game company. So many good games with good characters. Please do not compare them with Sega.

Sonic the Hedgehog, trademarked Sonic The Hedgehog, is the title character and protagonist of the Sonic the Hedgehog series released by SEGA, as well as numerous spin-off comics, five animated shows, and an animated OVA. Sonic is hated because he is not Classic Sonic anymore. But I love the 3D sonic games more than the classic sonic games anyway. Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyrics is my personal favorite and so as Sonic Generations. Yeah I said it. Modern sonic is better than classic sonic
Are you crapping me! Sonic is way better than Shadow, in several ways! Sonic is loyal, heart felt, determined, more intelligent, and is a classy, bad ass character. That's why I vote for him (but I still love you shadow, sonic just sticks with me.)
Classic Sonic and Modern Sonic have some major differences but I love them both. 2nd most favorite Sonic character ever.
Sonic should be higher than Mario, Mario has no personality. But Sonic's attitude is what made me love the franchise.

He is the most iconic character in video game history and is Nintendo's unofficial mascot. His franchise has grown to be the most successful video game franchise of all time. His games are great, but he leaves a lot to be desired as a *character*. He has an annoying voice, a bland design and zero personality. Oh, and his motivation for going on most of his adventures ("let's rescue the stupid princess yet again! ") is lame.

Shadow the Hedgehog is a character who appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series released by Sega. He is an artificially created black and red hedgehog whose hover shoes propel him at extreme speeds that rival those of Sonic. My favorite character out of all of the Sonic characters. He just has that cool vibe and it intrigues me.
I'm so glad shadow got his own game for the GameCube. He deserved one

Guys don't hate on mario they good brothers and I believe Luigi and mario should be on the same level mario for being the main character and saving games and Luigi because he can relate to normal human beings

Rosalina, known as Rosetta in Japan, is a major character in the Mario Franchise created by Nintendo. She first appeared in the 2007 Mario Game, Super Mario Galaxy for the Nintendo Wii and later returned for the game's sequel in 2010. Since then, she has been featured in many main-series Mario Games and many spinoffs. She has appeared as a playable character in Super Mario 3D World for the Nintendo Wii U in 2013 and is a playable character in the Mario Kart series and Mario Party series. She also has come into Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS as a part of the large character roster.
