1 K.S. Chithra Krishnan Nair Shantakumari Chithra, often credited as K. S. Chithra or simply Chithra, is an Indian playback singer from Kerala. Chithra also sings Indian classical, devotional, and popular music.

Buttery smooth, on-pitch (no auto-tune necessary, thank-you! ), multi-octave classical range, controlled vibrato, timing with gracefully nuanced vocals deliciously behind the beat.

She is beautiful and her voice range and control is amazing. No one touch her level of voice.

Creativity, is what makes she special, the voice, is what makes she unbelievable, isn't that enough?

Jackie Evancho has one of the best voices ever heard. She makes grown men cry, and I am one of them. I am 64 years old and have never followed any singer until now. Once Jackie gets hold of your heart, she doesn't let go.

Buttery smooth, on-pitch (no auto-tune necessary, thank-you! ), multi-octave classical range, controlled vibrato, and a storyteller's timing with gracefully nuanced vocals deliciously behind the beat.

"Burn", a video from her new album "The Debut" demonstrates just how far she has grown musically, and just how beautiful the young woman Jackie Evancho has become.

That being the case...based on 'BEST VOICE' - Freddie Mercury is in the top 5.

This is a list of best voices and Mercury is not even in the top 10? I can tell many people here have never listened to Queen.

Something wrong with these people, who took Freddie to the 5th place. He is the best, we all know that.

The Contenders
11 Tom Chaplin Thomas Oliver Chaplin, is an English singer-songwriter, musician and composer, best known for being the lead vocalist of British alternative rock band Keane.

Tom's voice matches the Gods themselves - he's a beautiful talent and can make anything sound as if has being sung by angels! A great voacl range, controlled phenomenally with power and purpose. The only match to him at the moment I would say is Matthew Bellamy of Muse so KEEP GOING TOM!

Honestly one of the best voices of our time, encouraging the classic, old school good music, such a talented guy, and he sings the lyrics of one of the best writers ever (Tim Rice-Oxley)

Tom is not only one of the most incredible recorded voices but his live performance is out of this world. Watching him perform It's A Hard Life with Queen just gives me goosebumps.

Meh...she's okay. Not bad, but nothing special either. It seems that people either love her voice, or they hate it. Me...I'm kind of in the middle. She's both overhated and overrated. She is an example that just because you sing high notes that doesn't mean you are a powerful singer. Her high notes literally have no power to them and she has the voice (and body, but that's another story lol) of a girl who hasn't gone through puberty yet.

18 Sarah Brightman Sarah Brightman is an English classical crossover soprano, actress, musician, songwriter, conductor, and dancer.

Sarah, to me, seems to be too concerned with hitting Each Note perfectly and to me misses the emotion of the song/words on some tunes. Example would be Winter Light by Linda Ronstadt. Linda sang it with emotion and passion. Sarah seems stilted and focused on EACH PERFECT NOTE.
She has a great voice but needs to loosen up! Of course that's just my opinion. But then I am allowed to know what I enjoy!
