The Top Ten
1 YouTube YouTube is a global video-sharing website headquartered in San Bruno, California, United States. The service was created by three former PayPal employees on February 14, 2005. It's been through many downgrades including removal of the classic studio & editor along with direct messages & creator verification. Many YouTubers are making pointless videos basically for views & money & there's so much negative drama & too much hate along with the fact that YouTube's algorithm is ruined, videos can no longer exceed 12 hours in duration & many creators are facing demonetization. It's a disaster & all proves YouTube is dying & will pretty much be dead not much longer than 15-20 years.

Of course it won't die - there's so much content on it pretty much anyone can find a ton of videos they will enjoy, and it's made music much more accessible too. All the challenges, unfunny prank channels, Buzzfeed nonsense and videos of spoiled kids are only the tip of the iceberg and, let's face it, they're easy to avoid.

YouTube. It binds us all. How could we not see Youtubers, the world, enjoyable idiots, and cool stuff, at the tip of our fingers, on the keyboard or whatever device you have. Youtube is Unity. Balance (sometimes). Showing us what we desire, in our mind, body, and fingers. It is the world, on our very screen.

2 Instagram

It's been around for 9+ years & grew more popular than Snapchat (after SC's 2018 downgrade) but then it started going downhill after removing the following tab in some places along with the like counts from public users.

I love it. I love it. I love it.

3 Facebook Facebook is a corporation and an online social networking service headquartered in Menlo Park, California, in the United States.

This is why I don't have Facebook and I'm planning to have a profile at all. Plus, there is no point of having Facebook at all in my opinion because:
1. It's public, not private and others can see your photos, videos, comments, etc.
2. Some people can know a lot of information about you and can easily stalk you.
3. Everyone knows that one you post something on the internet, it stays there forever.
4. This is very sad: Some who have been cyber bullied had ended their own lives because of bullies don't know when to quit and they think that it's fun to troll others, when it's not.
But it's people choice if they want to have Facebook or not and it's not my business!

Facebook was once friendly & while that's still happening, it's more of marketing now. They became the biggest social media app in the number of daily & monthy users, yet even rivaled the peak of MySpace & eventually went downhill.

What because they got rid of the message board? People use Pages more than Groups?
Facebook is ok.

It already, and still is getting bashed by Tumblr fans.

4 Snapchat Snapchat is an American multimedia instant messaging app and service developed by Snap Inc., originally Snapchat Inc. One of the principal features of Snapchat is that pictures and messages are usually only available for a short time before they become inaccessible to their recipients. The app has evolved from originally focusing on person-to-person photo sharing to presently featuring users' "Stories" of 24 hours of chronological content, along with "Discover", letting brands show ad-supported short-form content. It also allows users to keep photos in the "my eyes only" which lets them keep their photos in a password-protected space. It has also reportedly incorporated limited use of end-to-end ...read more.

It already "died" in 2018 after they changed the layout & algorithm. It still exists but many people don't use it anymore & even the most famous influencers like Kylie Jenner quit it. It ended up like MySpace.

5 Twitter X (formerly known as Twitter) is an online news and social networking service where users post and interact with messages, also known as "tweets", restricted to 280 characters.

It's pretty much a common knowledge it'll keep lasting until they decide to make downgrades such as removing important features.

6 Tumblr Tumblr is a microblogging and social networking website founded by David Karp in 2007, and owned by Oath Inc.

It went downhill after Verizon sold it.

7 Whisper
8 MySpace

It went downhill after Facebook grew more popular & they changed the layout & it got sold to companies.

Do people still use this?
Like the original Bebo.

Really? It's dying a slow and painful death.

9 YouNow

It's been around 8 years (since 2011) & its still going strong.

10 Reddit Reddit (stylized in all lowercase as reddit) is an American social news aggregation, content rating, and discussion website. Registered users (commonly referred to as "Redditors") submit content to the site such as links, text posts, images, and videos, which are then voted up or down by other members. Posts are organized by subject into user-created boards called "communities" or "subreddits". Submissions with more upvotes appear towards the top of their subreddit and, if they receive enough upvotes, ultimately on the site's front page. Reddit administrators moderate the communities. Moderation is also conducted by community-specific moderators, who are not Reddit employees.

It was good until it was invaded with too many bullying comments.

The Contenders
11 TheTopTens TheTopTens is a countdown-based website founded and created in 2005 which consists of user-generated content. Visitors can vote, comment, like other comments, and view user-created remixes. Registered users can use the additional features of the site - such as creating lists, remixes, posts, messaging, and following users to have content in the personal feed. It has over 200,000 lists as of 2022.

It went downhill after they changed the layout & features along with limits & many users deleted their accounts & left.

In 2018 a lot of people deleted their accounts on there

Admit it, you love it here...

14 FurAffinity
15 Deviantart DeviantArt is an online artwork, videography and photography community. The website was launched on August 7, 2000, by Angelo Sotira, Scott Jarkoff, Matthew Stephens, and others.

17 xHamster
