Top Ten Song Remixes Which Ruined the Original Song
I like a good remix of a classic electronic song. A GOOD remix, do you hear? Not crap like I have added below! K.M.N.Of all remixes, this is by far the most fake and the most tuneless and horrible. And what a way to ruin one of KOT's finest classics.
Totally agree. I've never heard it but if you say the remix ruined the original song, Pos, who am I to argue?
The original track is catchy, mellifluous and is very well refined. Revolvr's go at this is exactly the opposite. It's one thing I hate about Revolvr.
The first thing you notice is that it sounds nothing like the original, and could just as easily be some annoying mainstream deep house track. The second thing you notice is those mind-numbingly tone-deaf intervening vocals which repeat over and over again for ten minutes. The third thing you notice is your uncontrollable urge to turn this crap off, and despair in the ruination of the song.
I'm surprised that Moby would allow this to happen to his music.
This is the single most boring track in the modern era, which certainly contrasts with the original mix.
The original is wonderful. Now it's broken.
I most often don't listen to remixes of original songs. In fact I hate remixes, whether good or bad.
Anyone want to hear Kurt Cobain sound like a robot with explosive bowels? Look no further.
The original track is beautiful. This just gives me a headache.
My Chemical Romance deserved better than this.
It's just a faster version of it which you can't bring yourself to enjoy. You know the beat's in there, but it just doesn't come out.
Features a horrible rap intervention which makes me feel like punching someone. Probably the DJ.
To bring this masterpiece down to the level of poppy deep house makes you want to destroy things.
This remix tore the original version apart and smeared it in crap. Nero had made a funky, heavy, beautiful and meaningful electrohouse track, as awesome in a bar as it is in a club. It was incredible. Now we have a remix which strips it of the dark bass which defines Nero, and covers it with a pathetic attempt at making bass house, including on top of an irregular and tacky deep house beat. What's worse is how the lyrics of this song were jumbled to completely change the meaning of the song. Nero's albums have each told a post-apocalyptic romantic thriller with the songs combined, and it is that which makes them so entertaining and enticing, and it should not be trifled with. Now we have a cheesy, generic lust ballad that drags it down to the level of the pointless pieces you hear everyday. I can go on and on about how this disgusting remix has absolutely butchered a brilliant song by a brilliant band, but I can't even put into words how irate I am about this absurdity in mankind's ...more
Why would you remix Pyramid Song out of all songs?
It just doesn't fit the song at all making it a dance song.
Easily one of the worst.
The worst remix of the song. The other remixes were badass
