The Contenders: Page 2
All the hype around Lady Gaga's newest song gave me excitement and it was worth it.
All the so called Little Monsters who were bashing on the new songs must not heard You and I. Lady Gaga is reforming to a clean side in her own growing to same to singers such as Kesha, Katy Perry and Beyonce (in a sort of way, during the Sasha Fierce area of her side). The guitar riff is weakly acclaimed in a 3/5 area in my point. Gaga's vocals are that supposed to be so great. Let us now support her for Joanne. - ArigatoKawaii
Nice comeback Lady Gaga, better than most other songs of 2016... - Moorefamval
Lady Gaga make a hit for 80's another music industry without twerk and boring songs with voices in"Chipmunks" mode
Eh, it's fine, but not that great. Lady Gaga sounds pretty good, but t some points, she sounds grating, such as when she is singing "It was a perfect illusiooon." The beat is kinda basic. The key change is decent though. 6/10. - NiktheWizV 7 Comments
It may not be a popular single, but that doesn't mean a song is bad or doesn't deserve praise. This is without a doubt the best song of 2016. - NikBrusk
Funny, Nik can say this is the best song of the year, while I can't say this isn't even the best song on the album. Also, I'm not disrespecting his opinion, I'm disagreeing with it. You can do that, you know. - SwagFlicks
This is by far the best song of the year. The Weekend and Adele are not good music. Metallica is. - MorbidCannibalSlayer
This song is even better than Hardwired
This song puts the word "best" in the best songs of 2016V 4 Comments
I mean, Megadeth is a great band, but that's like almost 90% of this list. - SirSkeletorThe3rd
The riff in the beginning is to die for, and so is the entire song. I am also so glad that metal finally where it belongs: the top of the charts. - LostDream258
Great song! Metal has managed to survive throughout the years despite never getting mainstream attention. This song is a testament to what Megadeth can do. - Bastiodon
This song is lame. The beat is so lame, even "Panda" has a better beat, and the lyrics are nonsense. Megadeth is lame.V 8 Comments
My favorite song on the album. Beyonce sounds so righteously pissed here, and she just lets loose like I've never heard her before. Also helping is Jack White's production. That organ and guitar gives the song a smoky, angry texture to it that I just love. Finally, that ending note is awesome. - Zach808V 3 Comments
For a final single from these guys, this is actually pretty good. Has a great nostalgic feel to it. - Zach808
Dumb Direction should seriously stop. All of you are stupid 11 year old girls.
I love one direction but at the end when they do a hug I always cry harry is so cute/hot
I love one direction but louis tomlinson is most handsomestV 5 Comments
I'm not sure why I don't like this song. Maybe it has something to do with the weird reversed vocals that do actually nothing for the song? Maybe it's the fact that for as much as Radiohead and Thom Yorke would like to convey a rollercoaster of emotions the song never builds to...anything? Actually, probably both of those. 2/5 - WonkeyDude98
1 million times better than Lukas Graham.
Better than Lukas Graham? I should hope so, considering that this is the band that put out OK Computer. The song's good, but they've done way better. - Zach808
This song,Jesus on a boat snorting coke with hookers, this song is incredible, when I listened to Radiohead's new album,I wasn't expecting that much, but when day dreaming came on it took me away to another place and it was weird very much so. I feel in love with it and it sent me to a weird spacey star laced dream world and I didn't even have to take drugsV 7 Comments
This song makes no sense. "I didn't know that I was starving til I tasted you"? What?
This song gave me faith back in modern music.
This song is so awesome and goodV 4 Comments
Before I heard this song I thought taylor retired. She was supposed to release an album this fall. She didn't. At least she has this song - helloitsme
I would expect nothing more from Zayne, but come on Taylor! What were you thinking?! - GrimmShady
Zayn sounds like Charlie Puth, the burpy synths sound horrendous, the snaps stick out way too much, and Taylor Swift does a thing.
Also, we now have to live with the fact that Fifty Shades of Gray has a sequel. 0/5 - WonkeyDude98
Even though I liked Emperor's New Clothes a lot, it wasn't near my favorite from the album. This song is. The production of this song is amazing, and Brendon just sells it full force. Never before has a song about no longer being single sounded so rich yet fun. - Zach808
This song is DEFINITELY the best one all year. Its Brendon Urie at his best and amazing. This song should be at number one, and all the other ones on this album should be on here too!
While not my favorite from the album (Crazy = Genius all the way), it's still good and much better than stuff like NO, or 7 years, etc.
This is like my most favorite songV 10 Comments
This song is great and catchy, by the way it was released in January of this year so it is not from 2015
Are people not thinking about the song's year or have poor memory? This song is from 2015. - madoog
One of the worst coldplay songs, but anyone of their songs are still pretty good... - MoorefamvalV 5 Comments
This doesn't have any actual meaning other than that Beebo is secretly Satan, but I really really like it. - AnonymousChickV 1 Comment
Why on earth the song isn't on the Top 20? I mean, it has an awesome beat, great vocals and good lyrics. Why people are paying her dust? It should be higher. Same with Dangerous Woman (song)
I can't stop listening to this song. The melody, the vocals, it's so catchy. Certainly the best song of the year so far
This song is really good. I like it
This just sounds really good. I mean, it's obviously oversexualized and all that, I mean it's a pop song, what else do you expect. This song is only meant to sound good and sexy and it pulls that off perfectly.V 11 Comments
Why does the music industry continue to pump out garbage? - madoogV 1 Comment
This is a pretty great song, honestly. Zara Larsson has this endless charm that combines with her amazing voice to make anything she makes instantly enjoyable. Compared to her other big song Never Forget You, however, this is pretty lacking. The beat is a mix of catchy and relaxing. It's comfortable is where I'm getting at. Lyrically, this song is pretty weak. You can pretty much call this song verse-less, which makes it feel like the same phrase repeated over and over. The writing seems to detail a young love that crashed and burned, but the final few lines seem to frame it like a love-and-leave scenario. It's like a more bitter version of Carly Rae Jepsen's work. Still solid, I give it a 4/5, but Never Forget You is much better. - WonkeyDude98
I thought that she was a reggae black singer when I first heard this! Despite whatever race she is, she is an AMAZING singer and has a perfect voice. She's a pop girl, only better! - toptenqueen
Can't stand this song. I hated Never Forget You and this is just as bad. What's good about this song? All it really is just Zara Larsson trying to be both Rihanna and Alessia Cara and she does not sound good at all on this song. I didn't care about the lyrics but what I have heard was awful, and the production is worse than Never Forget You and some of the worst I have heard in the apocalypse of pop music that is 2016. If anyone has not heard this son, I would not recommend it.
This amazing song from a very talented breakout artist is one of the best songs of 2016. - Spark_Of_LifeV 5 Comments
I have absolutely no idea why this site hates this song so much. It's completely fantastic. - WonkeyDude98
5/5: Great production and deep story - ProPanda
HUH? I expected this to be a lot higher. Not like drunk high you know what I'm talking bout. Well #774 is kinda low since Everyone I know likes this song. I also like it as well and it was brought out pretty well. Not tryna be bias to The Weeknd but his songs are always great. 5/5 - AlphaQ
This song was officially a single last year, guys. It doesn't belong here. - theOpinionatedOneV 3 Comments
With this song being a catchy pop song with Joe Jonas on vocals and me being the outspoken metalhead that I am, you'd assume I'd hate this song and would have only bad things to say about it. I figured that would be the case, but the honest truth is, I actually like this song. It's catchy, it has a nice beat, and the chorus is not that bad. My only two problems with this song are that A: It's got the dumbest title known to man and B: the lyrics are less than pleasing, but honestly, it's not that bad. It's certainly better than that terrible song Nick Jonas put out last year. - AngryByrd
I'll give it a measly 6/10. It has nothing to do with cake! - Catacorn
1) This is from 2015 and solidly from there too, unlike other songs like Me Myself and I and Never Forget You.
2) This is tripe. - SwellowDude98
This is from 2015, and it's somewhat crappy. - Powerfulgirl10V 6 Comments
Can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually like this song. Its catchy and a great beat. - Catacorn
Not sure what to think of this one. I mean, yeah, the backing vocals are obnoxious, Desiigner is basically diet Future, the lyrics are garbage, and the beat was literally bought of YouTube for $200, but something must be making people like it. It's probably that it's so horrifically awful that it must be seen to be believed. - WonkeyDude98
This song is so dumb, it's actually kind of hilarious. Hilariously awful, if you will. It's so bad, I laugh every time I see some white kid dancing to it because my god, do they look so stupid.
Whoa. Dropped to #39. This masterpiece deserves its #1 spot on Mr Billaboard and it's really good. Now it's a 5/5 - AlphaQV 32 Comments
Not even the best one from this album- that has to go to daydreaming, but this song should still be above all the others above it - VaticanCameos
This is below such crap as panda and most other songs above it?
This song definitely deserves to be in the top 10. - ThePwoperMuser101
