The Top TenXW

1Coming Home

Masterpiece.. Rev's vocals would have made it even better.. Nevertheless I totally love this song..epic solo!

After A7X posted a link to stream the album for free, I went for it. All the songs were great, and then I hear this masterpiece. Greatest song on the album - MetalFoREVer1228

8 is my favourite number, 8 is the number of this song. Great song, a heavy metal masterpiece! - Nintendonix

Revs vocals wouldn't have done anything! This song is awesome all by its self and doesn't need the rev

2Hail to the King

Nooreldeen, why does it matter? These are confirmed tracks, confirmed title, so why does it matter that I've made it before it's released? Since people haven't heard it yet they can just wait until the album is released, what's the big deal? The list doesn't have to be voted on just yet does it. I just made the list while I was thinking about it. - EvilAngel

This is just a thought, but its not really fair that you made this list prior to the album's release. Don't be an achievement hog dude. Just saying. The same goes for your Trivium's Vengeance Falls list.

I love this song off of the hail to king album - rocknrollhorselover

3Shepherd of Fire

I very much got vibes of Black Sabbath's Black Sabbath from the dark intro with the rain and bell sounds, and that's pretty awesome.

By far the best song on the album

Great groove and a awesome way to start the album

This song is based off the song Enter Sandman by Metallica.

4This Means War

This song reminds me of Sad But True from the black album by Metallica. One of my favorite tracks from Hail to the King. I don't really like the self titled track. Shepherd of Fire's really good too.

Is it just me to does this sound very similar to Metallica's sad but true?

Best Track. Opening Harmony is Awesome, Lead Riff is Awesome, Vocals Awesome. Rev Would have made it better. Such a good song.

The whole album is great but this is the best song on the album. Also Shepard of Fire is really good.

5St. James

The whole album is amazing, probably the first where I liked every Song on it to pieces but this song really stands out to me, something I think jimmy would be proud of. Every word is a tribute to what an amazing man the rev was and by far the best song on the album. And jimmy is definitely my st james

The only true avenged song on the album. Its has the classic a7x melodies along with the drumming that made avenged so unique (not even close to the Rev's drumming unfortunately). I just hope there new albums consists of more songs like this one instead of songs like "This Means War" and "Coming Home".

This song should be top not because it is the most sophisticated song they have ever made, but this is their tribute song to their fallen brother in metal a legendary drummer Jimmy the rev Sullivan, this is a brilliant memorial song for the great life of the rev

This song is #1, its emotional, its personal, and the video on The Rev's life nearly made me cry. Its amazing what humans can do for friends and family, when people care about you. THIS song deserves to be #1! NO QUESTIONS ASKED!

This and Dimmu Borgir's Progenies of the Great Apocalypse are the two main songs that make me feel like I'm walking through an apocalyptic wasteland slaying zombies and blasting metal! Requiem for the win!

This is one of my favorite songs by avenged sevenfold songs. Its different in an amazing way

Not the albums best song, but has an awesome solo!

I love this song and Gates solo is just amazing

Everything is perfect in this song. - maclancaster

I don't know why but this song reminds me of Symphony of Destruction by Megadeth. How the huitar takes a break and the vocals keep going. And before the chorus in Megadeth it goes a'roll for a while and Heretic does the same sort of. Anazing song, could be just me...

8Crimson Day

It blew my mind when I saw this song on the bottom of the list! This song is so emotional, it's a lullaby to M. Shadow's so for god's sake! I fell in love with it as soon as I heard it.

One of their best songs on any album in my opinion.

Number 1 in my heart

Such a powerful, story telling song. If you close your eyes and listen you can just imagine the chaos!

This is one of A7X's most creative songs they've ever made... This song and Acid Rain blew me away. Syn's solo is one of the best he's ever done. This song is perfect, I don't know why it's the least popular on the album!

This should be 1

10Acid Rain

I hate this album! It's basically a copycat of Metallica black album. The song hail to the king sounds like enter sandman, and this means war sounds like sad but true. This album has been done before! Just listen to it closely. RIPOFF.

Why is this on the bottom? Such a great song! Give me chills and mellow feeling... In an incredible way.

Well the dumbass who says he hates this album, CLEARLY doesn't know A7X. In one of the web posts, the band CLEARLY STATES, that this album was to tribute all of the classic old Heavy Metal artists and their work, for basically THEIR HEROS!

Why is this last? Better than doing time definitely.

Amazing song!...reminds me of city of evil days with a Guns N' Roses taste!
