The Top Ten
1 Out of Control

I think Out of Control and Vain Glory Opera are equally good and it was difficult to decide but Out of Control has this fast guitar solo by Timo Tolkki (Stratovarius) and additional lead and backing vocals by Hansi Kürsch (Blind Guardian).
Hansi creates the song's climax: "Listen up my friend, you just cry for a hand but you only pretend that you're bad. Now! " (4:15).
Hansi also sings this part of the chorus: "My life is a chamber of tears, fear and hate".

2 Vain Glory Opera

Tobias Sammet is an amazing singer, actually one of the best ever. But when he sings with Hansi Kürsch it's even more exciting.
Hansi sings several lines after the guitar solo and again, he creates the climax of the song with the ear raping "Not only lies! " (4:30). He also sings the chorus with Tobias Sammet: "We live to fight the hand of doom, we got the pride to strike a fool, vain glory be my wicked guide".

3 No More Foolin

A fast and intense song with really good vox from Tobias Sammet (he was only 20-21).

4 How Many Miles

The rank of the songs from #3 onwards is relative because these songs have almost equal quality and it really depends on the mood.

5 Fairytale
6 Tomorrow

A very soft song with operatic vibe and very good vox.

7 Until We Rise Again
8 Walk on Fighting
9 Scarlet Rose

A power ballad.

10 But Here I Am

Japanese edition bonus track. This song is funny and it's probably more hard rock than metal (I think this was the reason to put it in the bonus track section). Later the song was included in their compliation album "Hall of Flames".
