@ ElectricCorpseSlayer, actually I found a lot of people who listened this song made them fan of Blind Guardian. But I am not that sure like I was sure about High Hopes ( I have been a Blind Guardian fan for few months). That's why I chose High Hopes at number 1
That's me. This is the song that made me a massive Blind Guardian fan. Currently I like better other Blind Guardian songs but this was the song that introduced me to the magical atmosphere of their music.

I guess I just like Pink Floyd type of music - reading other people comments I realize that even one of their boring songs worked for me, haha (Shine on you Crazy Diamond). It's not boring for me though.
This is such a complex song. You have to know a lot about the band's history to fully get it and it's just so beautiful with optimistic lyrics and that solo though

The solo part is what makes most people love it
My first song was rebellion in dreamland but I liked it more than rebellion in dreamland. still I prefer it more. I liked when he sang "Now hold your head up high" (I liked how he pronounced "high")
"Rebellion in Dreamland" is their best and most impressive song but "Land of the Free" and "Gardens Of The Sinner" are more appropriate to start with.

This song got me into Edguy and is still one of my favorite. Tobias Sammet gorgeous voice is just addictive, the energy of the song is great and the chorus is... oh, the chorus is something you have to hear.
