Top Ten Songs With Weird Lyrics That We Love
With this being one of the the most famous songs ever written, and the fact that almost no one can agree what the song really means, it is one of the strangest, yet most amazing songs ever written. That's without mentioning Eddie Mercury's voice and Brian May's expert guitar solos on his self made "Red Special"made in his garage
The most beautiful thing about this song is it brings people together. Even though we don't know what it means, we are still brought together by it. The mystery doesn't intrigue me; I don't want to know what the song means. I love it enough already.
Not really my introduction to Queen but I can honestly say, it took me years to figure out the title of this song! I was about 9 (20 years after its first release) when I first heard it but didn't know who Queen were at the time. Really weird! :D

Definitely should be #1. Just listen to the lyrics! 'With the lights out, it's less Dangerous. Here we are now, entertain us. I feel stupid, and contagious. Here we are now, entertain us. ' Another reason is that not once in the song do they sing "Smells Like Teen Spirit"
How do a mulatto, an albino, a mosquito, and some random guy's libido have ANYTHING in common? What the heck is Nirvana singing about? And, honestly, I love this song for some strange reason!
I was going to vote for bohemian rhapsody but then I realized that the lyrics aren't that weird, so since were song with weird lyrics that we love, this one from nirvana fits the bill
A mulatto
An albino
A mosquito
My libido
Very weird, but the song is awesome nevertheless. Also the way Kurt sings it makes it better.
His dancing is also quite weird that even vanilla ice copied it
This song is a beautiful song and undoubtedly is one of the best rock songs of the 2000's and the song meaning is sad it's about people that get judged by the way they die like let's say if someone dies of a drug overdose people will say he/she deserves it because they abused drugs.
I hate the song, but the lyrics are hysterical!
It's about domestic abuse...
Awesome song!
You can tell by the first verse that this song gets weird, but something about it makes you want to replay it for an hour

This song doesn't have that many weird lyrics, but it's still great.
Great song! Green Day for days!
I love this song's lyrics.
Grr! I didn't think I'd see this here. I already voted for Bohemian Rhapsody. ):
As much as I love Bohemian Rhapsody and ALL things Freddie Mercury, this is my favorite song, and even when I put bias aside, I still think it has weird lyrics and love it for that reason. I mean, just listen to these:
"Because I really always knew that my little crime would be cold - that's why I got a heater for your thighs."
Everything else in the song is amazing, too. If you were to hear different segments of it at different times, you wouldn't be able to tell they were from the same song. For example, the chorus sounds NOTHING like the verse (the verses sound like something out of a Tim Burton movie! ). In this sense, it reminds me of Bohemian Rhapsody. And the vocals from M Shadows and the Rev are incredibly expressive!
Please do not be turned off by the rather graphic content in the song. When you look past all the grossness and view the song as a whole, it has a beautiful message. ...more

The Song changes tune about 3-5 times different sounds in it

"Elementary penguin singing Hare Krishna" or "Sitting on a corn flake waiting for the van to come" or "Semolina Pilchard climbing up the Eiffel Tower", all in all, I love this song, even though the lyrics make no absolute sense.
The story of this song, is that John Lennon was upset with everyone over analyzing the Beatles lyrics, so he wrote a song that purposely made no sense, remembering little sayings he'd heard in his life.
This should be #1
-Fun Fact: Part of the song was written during an acid trip and it was meant to confuse people analyzing the Beatles' lyrics
"Sitting on a corn flake, waiting for the sun to come..." This song is my life
I LOVE foxes. So much. But this song is weird.
"Cat goes meow" NO, really?!?!
"Cow goes moo"!
(facepalm) I'm sorry, but the lyrics are for kindergartners.

This song has weird lyrics but I hate it. Who can be stupid enough to like this nonsense!?

Almost 50 years later, Morrison's lyrics about his mother are pretty weird.

John is talking about Paul and his death in this song and it all makes sense. 'He wear no shoeshine'. On the cover of A. Road, Paul is barefoot. 'Hair down to his knees'. After someone dies, their hair still grows for a while
This song is about the Beatles and how they need to "come together." (See what I did there? ) Each verse describes each member.
This song is talking about the different beatle members. read the lyrics. like were it says ono sideboard its talking about john lennon. and were it says he's gotta be good looking cause he's so hard to see. you can say who you think that is.
More than 40 years later, and still no one has any idea what a "walrus gumboot" is anyway.
Catchy, weird, awesome! It's very strange, and it makes me think, what the hell, but it's awesome and I never tire of it! But I don't think it's the best Barenaked Ladies song, and definitely not the best music video. That's Falling For the First Time; an awesome song in every way!
It's a great song, with great lyrics, which are very odd, but awesome!
The tune is too funny but I kinda like hearing it time and time again
