Star Wars is a great movie series, but like everything else, actors and actresses have died.
Some of them were big.
And the death of a Star Wars cast member hit the world hard and almost broke the media.

1 Carrie Fisher Carrie Frances Fisher (1956-2016) was an American actress, screenwriter, author, producer, and humorist. She was the daughter of singer Eddie Fisher and actress Debbie Reynolds. Fisher was known for playing Princess Leia in the Star Wars film series.
2 Alec Guinness Sir Alec Guinness was an English actor. After an early career on the stage, he was featured in several of the Ealing Comedies, including The Ladykillers and Kind Hearts and Coronets in which he played eight different characters.

3 Kenny Baker Kenneth George "Kenny" Baker was an English actor and musician. He is best known for portraying the character R2-D2 in the Star Wars science fiction movie franchise.
