Top 10 Strongest Fighting Pokemon

The Top Ten
1 Lucario Lucario is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. Created by Ken Sugimori, Lucario first appeared as a central character in the film Pokémon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, and later appeared in the video games Pokémon Diamond and Pearl and subsequent sequels, also appearing in various merchandise, spinoff titles and animated and printed adaptations of the franchise.

I always have Lucario on my team, and it is just SO OP! Riolu is so cute too! It's shiny proves it's the best, because it's shiny is golden! I mean, hello! The Mega is so cool, and it's move pool is really great! POW POW with bone rush and then WHAM with power-up punch with a bonus attack boost, it is AMAZING! It is-undeniably-the best Pokemon EVER! And it's Z-Moves are OP! #Power-up Punch. But, unfortunately, it is a STEEL TYPE. Boo fire type Pokemon.

He is strong. I MEAN SERIOUSLY, he is what "strong" means. With attack and special attack of 110 and 115, you can't expect which type he can use. He is also my Dragon Slayer and Fairy Grinder. With Nasty Plot, Aura Sphere, Flash Cannon and Dragon Pulse, he is a BEAST!

Lucario is a substantial Pokemon in the metagame with outrageous offenses with the adaptability ability. Its speed is decent too. You can run it as a brute mega- physical attacker with an overwhelming moveset comprised of closecombat, bullet punch, extremespeed, earthquake, and swords dance/power pu punch. You can also run a scarfed special set with aura sphere, flash cannon, dark pulse, dragon pulse, etc. However, there are infact even more broken Pokemon like Blaziken, Breloom, and Medicham-mega which are more deserving of this title.

You are a fool if you don't vote this great fighting and steel type aura pokemon. With aura sphere, reversal, dragon pulse and flash cannon, it is impossible to defeat him. And with mega evolution, don't even think of defeating lucario.

2 Blaziken Blaziken, known in Japan as Bashāmo, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

His fighting type gives him an advantage against the first gym in Hoenn even though he's fire. Blaziken is a lot faster than Lucario, and his mega evolution makes his speed rise every turn. Think about it, his speed is comparable with Electrode, Greninja, and Crobat. He can also learn sick moves like Overheat, Blaze Kick, Sky Uppercut, Superpower, and lots more! :<

Blaze Kick. Sky Uppercut. Fire Punch. Hi-Jump Kick. Flare Blitz. Brave Bird. Blast Burn. Focus Punch. Superpower. Blaziken is a Fire-Fighting Powerhouse. And Unlike Infernape, it is not able to be OHKO'd immediately. Teach it some status moves, it's a powerhouse topped up with Speed Boost. It's a beast. It's Mega makes in even MORE powerful. Best Fighting type.

Blaziken gets access to some of the strongest fire/fighting moves like, Flare burst, Blaze kick, Sky uppercut, and Brave Bird. Like the person above me, he is unbeatable with that speed boost, so make sure that it is your top priority to get if you want to be an optimal blaziken player.

Blaziken is my favorite Pokemon because the way he looks and the way he fights is just unbelievable.and plus Blastoise is my favorite Pokemon in the entire world. But Blaziken is one of my favorite Pokemon to he's my second favorite Pokemon. plus when he mega evolves is awesome and I'm just a 10 year old speaking the way I think of Blaziken.

3 Infernape Infernape, known in Japan as Goukazaru, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

I'm one of those people that haven't been playing Pokemon forever. I began my journey on Pearl in Sinnoh. I really liked it, and chose Chimchar for a starter. Also, it was a rare female starter, so that's a plus. I wiped out Roark and Gardenia pretty damn fast with her after she became a Monferno. I trained her into the epic Infernape I used to wipe out the Elite Four and Cynthia. Infernape isn't only just awesome and kick-ass, but she has a special place in my heart.

Please. No Disrespect but infernape is class number 1. Blaziken's access to speed may be good. But as every pokedex says, in starters infernape's speed is one of the fastest and second only to Greninja. Infernape learns mortal Attacks based on fighting amd its move of mach punch is ranked no. 1 among all other pokemons. Blaziken's kicking is where it has superiority but infernape's marshalarts makes enough of it. Close combat is the best. Flare Blitz is second to only Giga Impact and Dragon Rush. Moreover in terms of sustainability Infernape is topnotch! Lucario's steel type moves don't fine room for comfort against infernape dr Blaziken. So why? Infernape should be first. Well if not 1st then 2nd but only to blaziken. Lucario is no match. Charizard crushes lucario. Infernape and blaziken have an overwhelming advantage based on Pokemon types. Infernape no. 1

Being a fire and fighting type gives infernape the huge amount of advantage wins it collects. Plus he can learn powerful fighting type moves like close combat. Mine knows flamethrower, fire blast, overheat and my favorite, close combat.

Infernape is a MONSTER. Ash's Infernape destroys all people with his Blaze but Infernape isn't better than Blaziken. Infernape is number one because Blaziken has been overpowered too much. Infernape deserved a Mega Evolution.

4 Machamp Machamp, known in Japan as Kairiky, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

He is a freaking four-armed muscular pokemon! If pokemon wrestled instead of battling with attacks, he would be the most powerful pokemon ever.

No Guard is basically op. Dynamic Punch is mega powerful cause it hits with 100% accuracy, it has STAB and the it confuses the opponent, also machamp can learn stone edge which easily kills the flying type Pokemons that are used commonly, like talonflame staraptor and charizard, and it can even kill a mandibuzz which is a big threat in the ou and uu metagames. You can take care of low base speed by choice scarf or giving it the mach punch move.

People always underestimate Machamp, but he can pull off major upsets like in VGC Worlds seniors. He may have lost some potency the past 2 generations, but that No Guard + Dynamic Punch is still pretty deadly when used right!

Machamp is the original champ with an unbelievable op combo, Machamp is so flexible with tank strats, dps strats whatever the hell you can come up with, I have literally had and designed 2-3 Machamps for different purposes as they were entirely different Pokemon. I not only argue Machamp's power but also his strategic flexibility.

5 Breloom Breloom, known in Japan as Kinogassa, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

Give it a focus sash, cause of the lack of speed and the lack of defense, it can easily get OHKO'd. Once breloom hangs onto its focus sash, use spore. The opponent will switch or just be asleep. Meanwhile do a swords dance. And after that you are ready to kill the face of EVERYTHING. 40 base power of mach punch, add the technician, 60 power. Add the stab bonus, 80 power. Add the swords dance bonus, 160 power. Add your attack stat to that. Nothing can take care of this bad boy. But remember that flying types kill breloom. You don't have enough power to kill them, so should be used after the flying types are dead.

This guy is op spore your paralyzed, spore your poisoned, spore your asleep. Breloom also has attack power higher than arceus and super stretched arms that can be real useful in life. Also I like mushrooms because they come in different shapes and sizes and this guy is also a dinosaur. Poor guy wish he wasn't so underrated

Breloom is one of the most awesome r/s Pokemon ever. You catch it at the beginning of the game and with its spore and poison orb you can pretty much destroy everything. I even use it in competitive battling because it is just that good.

Have you tried technician-boosted mach punch? It's one of the strongest first-moves ever! Plus, he can learn SPORE. That's it. Game over.

6 Medicham

Ok, what the hell guys. Medicham deserves to be at the top of this list. With HJK, it can kill practically anything. Inside it's tier, it's got Ice Punch which OHKOs Gliscor, Zen Headbutt which on Mega Medicham has 270 base power (High Jump Kick has 390! ), Fake Out to get some really good chip damage on the enemy before they can even attack, and Bullet Punch in place of Ice Punch for some added priority plus a way to crush fairy types. The possibilities are endless with Mega Medicham. You can give it Psycho Cut in place of Zen Headbutt for added Crit chance and no loss of accuracy, Drain Punch in place of HJK for less risk and health gain, and just so much more. I mean, Pokemon in front of it on this list like Throh, Sawk, Primeape, Hawlucha (Hawlucha is pretty cool), Chesnaught and Gallade are much worse than this beast. It should be in the top 3, let alone the top 10.

Two words. Pure Power.
Give this guy psycho cut and drain punch, and you have a self-sustaining wrecking machine.

A good combo of fighting and psychic. Unstoppable.

Sorry, mienshau is just fighting. But medicham is a psychic fighting people. Psychic fighting

7 Hawlucha Hawlucha, known in Japan as Luchabull, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

I choose hawlucha because he is just awesome and he is extremely powerful and he has a very unique battle style which make him very entertaining to watch.

Ermmm... how was this not already listed?! Amazing speed with UNBURDEN which boosts its speed further meaning it can be ran with an adament nature. Acrobatics is also boosted after loosing its item. Hits like a truck

LOVE HIM. I just wish he had a slightly higher attack stat, but with the ability unburden, battling with him is just so much fun. Powerup punch, acrobatics, highjump kick, and you'll be set.

One of my favorite Pokemon. Also love its character and voice in the anime. Team Hawlucha!

8 Toxicroak

This one is best because for some reason this Pokemon is best suited for me, Lucario maybe the best doesn't gets boring sometimes to use it. I voted for this because I just love it so much so bye boo.

He was toxic in fortnite to my dead dog. He was murdered by Toxicroak and I was happy and chill because that dog pooped in my pillow and he made a troll face after I laid on it.

Deadly as heck. The big problem: quad weak to psychic. Other wise, not bad.

Great in Pokemon, but just think about it in real life. It's like fighting Chuck Norris but every time he hite you or you hit him you get poisoned

9 Mienshao

Mienshao has a very nice design and is good in battle too so it is my favorite fighting type other than Lucario.

Psychic fighting people. Psychic fighting.

It is a cool karate cat. What's not to like?

Want it to have a mega

10 Heracross Heracross, known in Japan as Heracros, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

This pokemon also has access to bug moves which removes the psychic weakness, it is the BEST physical non-legendary attacker when mega evolved. Who is better than this?

I don't know why this is 11, should be in the top 10 with its dual typing, it doesn't completely counter its psychic weakness but if it's not taken out with one hit it'll kill a vast majority of psychic type Pokemon with MEGAHORN!

Heracross is a very effective Pokemon... Its because for its flying. And its judging power is also very good...

Hera, Hera, Heracross! Smart and shiny, it's the bug boss! Love it, need it, Heracross!

The Contenders
11 Gallade Gallade, known in Japan as Erureido, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

A perfect combination of Gracefulness, beauty, intelligence and fury. Its Mega-evolve form makes it a agile, quick, yet elegant fighter from the heavens. (Its attack stat after mega evolving is 195. Yes.) To me, he is only inferior against Lucario (Lucario is the best. Yeah! ) but his sheer beauty and wisdom compensates what he lacks at health or other low stats. Nevertheless, he is one of the best in the fighting realm of the Pokemon Universe.

Gallade should be at least 3 spots higher in my opinion. He can learn the most high-critical-hit-ratio moves, he has a very high Attack stat, a great Special Defense stat (in fact he is one of the Fighting- types with the highest Special Defense), and with the right moveset and a bit of Speed and Defense boosts, he can whip arses LIKE A BAWSS (intentionally misspelled).
Gallade 4evz ~

What Pokemon is better than Gallade? First, because blades for arms! Second, Wally had one at the end and the mega is amazing!

I love this Pokemon, I've used it as much as possible and it's never failed me and in competitive battle it's even better.

12 Conkeldurr

It's got reliable recovery with Drain Punch (egg move), it learns Stone Edge to deal with annoying flying types such as Talonflame, Poison Jab (use TM) to deal with Fairy types, and Payback (use TM) or Knock Off (move Tutor) to deal with Psychic types, with its low speed giving Payback maximum benefit. It has good physical bulk with pretty good HP and godly Attack, and Guts boosting that more. With it being able to prove its worth and destroy Machamp, giving it the title of essential Fighting Pokemon, how is Machamp higher? Side note from competitive usefulness, Machamp looks like a mutated WWE wrestler, and Conkeldurr looks like a Pokemon. For all you design-biased people, you have no excuse. This Pokemon is godly compared to most other non-legends.

A shame people don't recognize Conkeldurr even after it took Machamp's mantle as the quintessential fighting type starting Gen 5. This guy defines fighting types in their raw physical form--no tricks, no relying on other STAB. It's OU and very useful against CHALK. Of course I don't expect people here to see that because they'd rather have flash and style over substance.

Conkeldurr is a beast. It has massive attack along with very good bulk and a lot of different options. It has a very good move pool and can take on many of the most common threats like Heatran, Landorus/Landorus-T, Ferrothorn, M-Loppunny, and the Lati twins struggle switching into it due to its powerful Knock Off or Ice Punch. Easily one of my favorite Pokemon to use

Often ridiculed and called a machamp clone, this gutsy monster will pummel anyone who mocks it to the ground. Because burn orb+ guts+ facade. Play showdown.

13 Poliwrath Poliwrath, known in Japan as Nyorobon, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

Too bad he doesn't get good fighting type moves.

14 Mega Mewtwo X

What happens when you give one of the best legendary pokemon a mega evolution to make it OP as crap? You get mega mewtwo X or Mega Rayquaza, but I am talking about Mega Mewtwo X right now because Mewtwo can kill it with two calm minds and a Psystrike.

My most powerful stab physical fighting move is Brick Break. Yay!

Mega Mewtwo x is the most powerful fighting type Pokemon.

I looked it up, it is the strongest fighting type.

15 Hariyama

High variability of moves, including Surf and Earthquake. To finish, there's Vital Throw, a powerful attack that never misses.

A fighting type that can deal damage AND take it? What insane world is this?

Hariyama is the second strongest fighting pokemon.

UGLY, but deserving of its might power.

16 Mega Lucario

Why is mega lucario so low compared to ordinary lucario? They are just the same thing but a mega evolution is better then it's prior stage except mega garchomp. This Pokemon can learn so many damaging moves. He is very fast so he could out speed a lot of Pokemon and because of his high sp attack and ordinary attack he usually beats up his opponent before they get a hit. Don't worry if he gets hit because he has good defense so don't expect him to faint in one hit.

Statistically mega lucario has the third highest stats of all fighting Pokemon. In addition it has a wide variety of moves. Only mega Mewtwo x and mega blaziken are stronger. Lucario could beat mega blaziken with it's ground attacks and mega Mewtwo with dark attacks.

Why is it's pre form number one? It makes no sense also with the move set aura sphere, brick break, close combat, and extreme speed, this thing recks everything.

Techniclay Mega Lucario isn't really a pokemon Lucario is the pokemon itself you understand now!

17 Hitmonlee

This was my the second fighting type I got ever. Next to machamp. But I'm not going to be a nostalgia blind idiot who thinks Charizard is the best ever or something. His attack ano so. Defense is really good so he won't die to something like a psychic sometimes it can even be stab phychic and I still se it surviving. And it's speed isn't great, but then unburdened happened, and now he's just as fast as he hits hard. And don't forget he knows endure and with endure comes reversal unburden. Or if you want to attack without having a lichi berry on, you can just have a focus sash and do it like that while getting an attack in. But he has more tricks up his sleeve, but this is all I can say before making a review off of a Pokemon. Also he's named after Bruce Lee, that's a plus.

I do understand Hitmonlee isn't better than infernape, or heracross but still Lee deserves more love because I personally like him better than Hariyama, Breloom, and Poliwrath.

My favorite Pokemon, he was great in battle and it's a shame that he's this low compared to Lucario, who is, in my humble opinion, useless in battle.

I don't see why people doesn't like this guy. I found him reliable and incredibly strong. I wouldn't say he's the best, but he my favourite Pokemon!

18 Primeape

Primeape is fully efficient Pokemon known for its anger if it gets angry then the opponent should know what is going to happen...

I remember when Ashes primeape beat the whole tournament and beat up team rocket! It was hilarious.

Ash's Primeape had defeat a Hitmonlee in the episode the punchy Pokemon

He should be in 1

19 Scrafty

May not be the hardest hitter, but it makes up for that with amazing defenses and with a good movepool. It also learns High Jump Kick which covers up its base 90 attack. It can learn Ice Punch to counter flying types and etc.Lastly, the combination of Fighting and Dark is GODLY. One of the top 10 Fighting Pokemon in my book.

Pull your pants first

High jump kick

It may not look like it, but its really defensive, and it can dish damage as well

20 Sawk

I have one named "Mr. Anything" because he can OHKO ANYTHING. He is easily one of the best fighting types with a bit of bulk (at least mine did) and very good stab moves. I can 1 shot any steel, rock, or ice types with a single brick break.

He is generally pretty good when it comes to battling. If your wondering how to counter him his best matchup for an epic fight is probably Throh.

Sock! Sawk! Are you KIDDING ME I know it's enemy was Throh, and Sawk+Throh (which is even worse and sounds like throw)=Throw the sock away

I'm Bly e if was green I would die hey guys remember that song. And also sank is blue

21 Cobalion Cobalion, known in Japan as Cobalon, is a Legendary Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.
22 Mega Lopunny

Such a beast. E.V. train it the right way and it becomes a fast, lean, mean, killing machine. It also has Scrappy, which makes every attacking move it has able to hit Ghost-types. Things like Mega Sableye won't stand a chance, due to it being half Dark-type.

Broken. Its basically broken. Use fake out the first turn to mega evolve without any problems, then high jump kick and return are just op with the stab, also what makes it super good is the scrappy ability, its anti-mega sableye. Also ice punch and thunderpunch are good coverage moves.

Great speed, awesome attacking power, overall great Pokemon. A bit weak to Talonflame or Espeon, but if you E.V. train it the right way, it becomes a beast.

While loppuny might be a lame furry bait in pu ( I like it anywhays), it's mega is a showstopper. Fake out and last resort, combined with ghost hitting scrappy make it a nightmare in 1v1. Scrappy and a good moveset also secured it's place on ou as a physical sweeper.

23 Emboar Emboar, known in Japan as Enbuoh, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

This Pokemon isn't as good as people think it is. Sure it has the highest hp and physical attack of all starters, but it's defenses are severely lacking. It's hp won't help it. It might just be me, but I hate this Pokemon.

It is THE best fighting type in black/white and black/white 2 and is awesome in VI gen.

It is a kick ass. It rocks

What a cool pokemon!

24 Pangoro Pangoro is a dual-type Fighting/Dark Pokémon introduced in the Pokémon franchise's sixth generation. It evolves from Pancham and is known for its tough appearance and combat skills. Pangoro's design and demeanor reflect its warrior-like nature, and it often stands up against injustice. Its unique dual typing makes it a versatile addition to battles.

I like the way he is. The attack is so OP

25 Chesnaught Chesnaught, known in Japan as Brigarron, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

Even more underrated than delphox, this pokemon is forever under the shadow of ninjafrogmcgee. Bulletproof, thunder punch, and spiky shield make it an amazing tank, with great attacks to boot
